The food was tasteless. Some of the sushi didn’t taste quite right and the chef came from behind the counter to berate me and ask if I have a problem. Genuinely shocked me because all I said was I had a problem with the Sushi I had not that I wouldn’t get another roll and pay for it. He then proceeded to even ask in a condescending manner if I need to take a certain medication or do I need 911 to be called so I can go to the hospital since I didn’t like the sushi but “everyone else” did today. I will never go back there the owners are rude. Let me preface this by saying, the food here is ALWAYS amazing, along with the customer service and the people that work here. I get take out here often and have a coworker that gets it at least once a week. Today, I decided to Door Dash it because I didn't have time to drive there. I received my food and was VERY disappointed. The amount that I get when I do take out vs the amount I received through Door Dash is astronomically different in size. I had alreaty eaten about 4 small pieces of chicken and a little bit of the rice prior to the photos attached, but typically when I get it it's 3 meals for me and double the size of what I received. Excellent sushi; reasonable prices and all their food is very good. But the sushi. It is phenomenal. Can’t say enough about it. The best for me are the Las Vegas rolls or the Volcano rolls, but all of them are great. The salmon jalapeño appetizers melt in your mouth and are sweet and spicy and good. I go here several times a month and prefer it over any other sushi place around. The atmosphere is a little on the minimal side, but clean and very nice, and the service is great, the people are friendly and very attentive, if you need something, they are always right there to bring it to you quickly with a smile.
