This Taco Bell location is absolutely amazing!! And - I don’t use that term lightly! Everything from the staff, the service, the food, the cleanliness of the restaurant AND the parking lot, their attention to timeliness of the orders and making sure they are correct, etc! I just can’t say enough! (See story below)
I had a late night (10pm-Friday) craving after a long work week, so I went to the supposedly (24HR) Taco Bell location closest to my house, which is right off of the interstate (I-69 & 96th St), but Surprise, Surprise!!!! Despite their advertised hours, they are closed! Again!!! Which happens randomly throughout the day on a regular basis, but they refuse to change their online hours of availability! Super frustrating!
Moving on - I continue on to the next closest location located less than 2 miles away in a residential area & imagine my surprise to see it open and THRIVING!!! They had 5-6 cars lined up in the drive thru & 7-8 cars parked in the lot waiting for To-Go orders. Waiting for my daughter to text her order, I parked a ways away in the middle of the lot. In the 5 minutes I waited, I witnessed the most positive & energetic person, ERIC(K) constantly walking outside hand delivering orders, checking on and updating people waiting, and he even walked over to my car parked out of the way to see if he could help me! I hadn’t even ordered anything yet, but he was on top of all of it & with a smile on his face the entire time!!
I finally place an online order for drive thru pickup and then a few min later when I pulled up to the drive thru to pick it up. I discovered that there were only 3 people working in the entire store! WHAT?!! The constant stream of happy customers, both parked outside & in the drive thru & the speed at which it happened just blew my mind!
We all know & have experienced the many changes of customer service that have occurred since COVID, but I have to 110 day that this is one store that has not only maintained their level of service, but improved upon it!! Kudos to you, Eric(k) & your fellow co-workers!! I will be a frequent customer from now on & will be referring your store to anyone who will listen!! Thanks...
Read more8pm, Halloween night. Dining room is dark. Sign on the door says "Lobby Closed on Thursday, October 31. Several cars in drive through. I, like the sheep I am, also get in line. The line is a parking lot for 10 minutes (not an exaggeration). Once you're in, you're trapped in, due to the layout of the parking lot, etc. When the guy 2 cars up finally wakes up and drives through, the next car stops for what would be a reasonable order time. This location has frequently experienced long times before, so none of this seems entirely implausible.
When it's my turn at the order board, a voice barely louder than a mumble comes on and says what i think is "hello." Again, I've received this greeting in the past, so nothing seems extraordinarily odd at this point. I speak my order and hear nothing. A few seconds later, i hear the voice again. Windy night. Sounded like "hello" again. I wait a few more seconds, listen closely, and the mumbling voice is repeating "closed." I drive around to see what the malfunction was, and a sign on the window said "closed, went for candy."
I understand that businesses close. The nature of this business is one that is pretty consistently patronized. I just think that the signage could have been more clear, and the drive thru chained off or something. Ultimately, it was the car in front of me that was sleeping that aggravated me, but the unclear messaging to the customer just tipped the scale. I'll actively avoid this taco bell, as there is another that is equidistant from both my home and place of work. Hope they can get their staffing...
Read moreWent to this location twice. First time we asked for no tomato on our tacos and nachos and they still put them on, and didn't notice until we got home. I understand mistakes happen (I used to work in Management at a Wendy's) but we attempted to call the store up numerous times to have it go to voice-mail every single time. We then submit a request for someone to give us a call back from the Taco Bell website to help correct this issue and never received a callback. The lack of proper Customer Service is appalling!
Second time we used the Taco Bell app to place a mobile order for pickup. Upon arriving they informed us that they were out of beef and they couldn't give us a refund because we used the app, we would have to call the 1(800) number to get a refund. We placed the order at night and when we called the support line was closed, which is a little ridiculous for a major Fast Food chain (Wendy's has a 24 hour Customer Service line for customer complaints and issues. I find it strange a similar multi-billion dollar Fast Food franchise doesn't have a system like that in place.)
Whatever though, I plan on calling the support line tomorrow and hopefully I don't get the run-around, otherwise I will be immediately calling my bank and requesting a chargeback. I've about lost my patience with this location and won't be back. If you want a good Taco Bell location, go to the one on Olivia Way near the HTC Mall. Never had any issues with...
