About the food: I ordered vegetable samosas which came out fairly quickly. They were fresh, hot, crispy, slightly spicy, and tasty. I also ordered Paneer Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan. The Naan was hot and smothered in fresh garlic and ghee. It was amazing. The Tikka Masala was very mild with virtually no spice at all - they didn't ask me what level spice I wanted and I didn't think to offer that info, although I wish I had. It was also considerably more thick and creamy with coconut milk than other Tikka Masalas I've had at other places. The saucy had almost a fluffy texture. Overall, it tasted good but different than I had expected. The food was excellent quality, and I imagine that everything on the menu is delicious. About the Service: Like other reviewers mentioned, Service was slow. There was only one server doing the best he could. During our conversation, he apologized for not being more on the ball. The summer staff had all gone back to college so he was helping out his friend. He was very friendly and did a fantastic job, especially for not being a server and the only one on the floor. About the Building: The first thing I noticed when I walked in was that it didn't smell like food; it smelled unclean. It was like the carpet and the material draped from the ceiling and windows had never been shampooed. It was also very dark, so the smell made it feel just dirty and dingy overall. Upon being seated, I noticed that the table, silverware, and drinking glasses were clean so I stayed to eat. Had the tables and stuff I ate/drank from been dirty, I would've left. A trip to the bathroom revealed more uncleanliness. Doors, sinks, toilets, etc. I made the mistake of grabbing the red basket (wrapped in foil) in which my Naan sat and realized that the bread basket was sticky from being covered in caked grease, like it had never been washed. I felt relieved that they wrapped the basket in foil before putting the Naan in it. Though the food was good and I could tolerate very slow service, I can not tolerate the suffocating smell of dirty carpet nor the fact that this restaurant seems to have not been cleaned in, most likely, years. It's unfortunate, but I will not come back.

What an amazing buffet! The staff are so friendly and helpful. There's an unlimited dosa station with your choice of fillings (cheese, chutney, tomato/onion). I asked the kind man (2nd picture, taken with his permission) if he'd be willing to make me his own choice of dosa -- and it was phenomenal! The chicken tandoori was amazing (I've found that restaurants normally cut quality on tandoori) and so was the chicken Tikka masala. I also loved the paneer butter masala, the broccoli masala, and the potato varuval, the dum biryani... umm, I guess I loved everything LOL There's chai, a rose drink, galub jamun, mysore pak, and rice pudding for sweets. To be honest? I think they should charge more. It was only 19 with tax (on Saturday) and for the variety and quality provided, I'd gladly pay 25. Really overall phenomenal experience and I can't wait to come back with my sisters! ❤️

Today on January 19, the buffet had raw chicken and other undercooked chicken options out. The picture is of a chicken leg that was still raw on one side. Not only is Salmonella a risk but we are in the midst of a potential Bird flu outbreak. I informed the staff and they removed it and replaced it 10 minutes later. Was it cooked correctly now? I don't know. I wasn't risking it. I assumed we'd have a discount or something but I had to pay full price after biting into a raw chicken leg. I don't argue and just plan to dispute the charge. We like the place and hope this is a one time bad experience but we definitely won't be coming back on Sunday anymore. Before this bad experience today, it would be a solid 5 stars. 4 stars if the Paneer Masala is no longer served.

This was a consistently good, well-staffed restaurant before the coronavirus hit. My last meal was an unpleasant adventure, since part of my carryout order was missing. I called to inform them, and the gentleman assumed was that either I or my wife was mistaken or lying, until he decided to look around and see that the missing part of the order was still there in the restaurant.

I offered to drive back and pick up the remainder of the order. He apologized and was quite insistent about bringing it to me personally, also insisting that I text him my address. Apparently, he couldn't find a pen. Over 2 hours later, I called to follow up. He actually assumed I would want the same dish that had been sitting in the restaurant all that time. He seemed genuinely surprised that I would want fresh food. I hope they don't regularly let food sit like that before serving it, especially in the midst of a public health crisis.

A total of nearly three hours later, he "delivered" it - by calling me and telling me "I'm downstairs." I explained I lived upstairs. He replied, " I'm not DoorDash." No, sir, you certainly aren't.

I understand some restaurants are currently struggling, but if this gentleman's assumptions and mistakes are any indication, who knows what their sanitation procedures or food storage standards are right now? Until all this calms down, I'd avoid this place. It's unfortunate, because it's generally very good. On a final note, they did give us a free rice pudding dessert, which was nice. Still, for all the inconvenience and borderline rudeness, among the above concerns, I won't be back...

The food was good which is why I gave that extra star. Unfortunately that is all that is worthy of praise here. This place use to be the place to go when it came to Indian food and now it was practically empty. I can see why. Let's start with service. While it wasn't the worst I've had, the server was pretty lethargic. He was friendly and welcoming enough though so no complaints about that side of it. The service was pretty slow though so I can easily say that that could use some improvement. My biggest complaint was the overall state of the place. It was FILTHY! Not just a little dirty from a service or from a few days of not cleaning. No! There were dead insects in the lighting above where diners sit and stains all over the sheets. Those need to be taken down, cleaned, and washed pronto! There is no excuse for that level of filth! It gets worse however, I went back to use to bathroom and boy was that telling... There was some kind of black grime all over the light-switch panel from years of use. The rest of the bathroom was caked in lime and the area around the toilet was disgusting. It's like it hasn't had a proper cleaning in months. It is on par with several dodgy gas stations. It's that bad. I'd be loathed to see what the kitchen is like. Case and point: Clean! Just clean. Y'all are going to make people sick if you don't and obviously chase away customers. So get a ladder and bucket and give everything a hearty scrub and magically watch a 2 star review turn into 4...
