After being a former employee. I got to say, I am quite disappointed in management, but to say management is to throw multiple people under the bus, specifically my issue was with Estefania she seemed to really only care about her self reflection.. was more about saving the store money by removing toppings off of food that I was told by the district manager was the appropriate amount. So you have quite a bit of contradiction in the standard of food that's supposed to honor the customers.. would also not inform customers of the deals and promotions that dominoes is known for.. she seemed kinda rude even when handling customer complaints, and when I first started working there she told me she would give me hours.. the first week was good and the second week she gave me 1 day to work. As I tried to text her and ask what it was all about she told me we would talk at the end of the week.. so I got to sit there scratching my head wondering what was up, only to be discriminated against and labeled as a druggie. I was accused because I came into work 1 day tired as I was also in the process of moving and starting a new job which I had to explain to her my personal life to clear things up.. I was told we would recieve breaks, at least a 15m break, and she had me handling multiple jobs on top of the phone calls. When I would ask to step out she would give me a hard time because I was a smoker. The store would be at a stand still(no orders) and she would still give me a hard time about it. One thing I noticed which has turned me down from ever ordering dominoes again was the pizza pans they would use to cook the pizza on, these often get dropped on the ground and shoved right back into the shelves by employees who either just don't care or are not advised of sanitary procedures. Customer complaints were not handled accordingly, most the time she would believe the customer was lying 9/10 rather then honor them. This would effect tips and the loss of customers. I don't even wanna get started on how corrupt the tip system was there after telling her an employee was literally stealing handfuls of tips out of the jar for us employees, and pocketing them for herself. Rather then address the situation she moved the thief to a different schedule.. normally I would keep this stuff to myself, and perhaps bring it to theyre attention directly, but I only feel it would go in 1 ear and out the other.. kinda sad really. If you order food past 11p, be very careful and check your food as it usually gets shoved halfway through the oven to save precious time on they're order timers.. each order is timed and they expect food to be done asap regardless of how it looks and it's standard cooking time.. so, if you ever get uncooked food this is probably why.. I will say I witnessed Elijah doing this quite a bit at night, I would like to have seen him address problems in the store like a proper manager should rather then 7/10 times say idk and shrug his shoulders. Other then that he was excellent to work with. I will say Dave there is a phenominal worker who watched out for not only the employees but the customers as well. He always went out of his way to ensure the customers were happy. Hes a true leader and definitely deserves he title of upper management. One last thing, they say they offer a generous pay rate well that was a lie.. I started at 15 an hour and left at 15 dollars an hour, cause the tip system is trash it was a complete joke. Even after reminding her I had lots of retail and food experience prior.. We called at 10:00 to check on our order and they said we are backed up and putting youâre order in right now. At 10:40pm I called again to check on our order and the person who picked up the phone was extremely rude to me, I asked to talk to the manager and as I told him - I understand youâre backed up and may be understaffed but there is no need to lie that our order is in the oven when it wasnât. When I called at 10:40 (second time we calling in to check on for our order) weâre told it is yet again going into the oven.    Read moreI've never had a bad experience from this place. Once they gave me garlic crust when I requested my pizza did not--big deal. But the last time I ordered things went pretty wrong.
Ultimately I ordered a pizza at 12:30, not knowing they closed earlier weeknights (I'm an idiot). After 1:30 we called asking: where's our food? They told us they sent us a courtesy call since they were closing soon, but we never did receive that call. Not only that but their usually reliable tracker wouldn't fetch us our order.
They did refund our meal and when we called the next day they gave us our meal for free--problem being they sent us the order before last. Basically, our order was never recorded in their system that night, even though we got charged. It's a hole in the system that they don't seem worried about.
They handled it fairly well (not really the best, they got a little snippy but given it was almost 2 am I can't blame them) though and I did get refunded....
