My boys and i went here for lunch today as we usually love this restaurant. We ordered the special large cheese pizza which was $14 as compared the the regular price of $18. We added 2 toppings and the price went to $24. I paid, and as I waited for the pizza, the price didn't seem right. I inquired with the gal behind the counter and she said that $14 was for cheese only. No toppings. I said I understood as the regular price for a cheese pizza was $18 and I paid extra for toppings. She then stated that if I wanted toppings that the special no longer applied and the pie was full price regardless. This went back and for for a minute and I accepted the price and just waited patiently for my pie. The gal then stated if her or the bearded guy making the pizzas were there next time that I would receive a free pie. Before I could say ok he spouted off "or not...whatever". I was appalled by that backhanded comment but didn't say anything. My son then notices a pie sitting on the counter and said I think that is ours however, no one behind the counter said anything as to who's pie it was. He grabbed it and looked. Read moreHORRIBLE customer service and an establishment that does not step up to the plate when they make a mistake. We ordered several pizza for a delivery with a simple request that one item not be included on one of the pizzas because of a severe allergy. We were quite explicit when ordering, and stopped in to order in person earlier in the day so that this would not be a problem. When the pizzas arrived at 5:00 we found that they had not made the pizza as requested and had ignored our simple, but important request. We immediately called them while the driver was still at our home to let them know what had happened, and were told to keep the pizza we couldn't use and that they would make another one and have it sent right over. After 45 minutes we called to inquire about the pizza and were told it would be another 25 minutes. Meanwhile everyone else had eaten. There is absolutely no excuse for such poor service, and we will never order from them again. They obviously do not care about the customer and how to right a wrong. Find somewhere else for your pizza unless you do not care how you will be treated if something in your order...
Read moreI normally don’t post negative reviews, but this really upset me. We’ve been customers for years. Tony’s was always our place to get good food and for being close to home, it was convenient. In the past year or so, we started getting “rewards” in every receipt of each new visit. The problem is that for all the past 4 times we’ve been there, even though we being the receipts showing the “rewards”, we’re told “no rewards show in their end”. I’ve let it go for the first three times, but today was it. I asked if there was a Manager that I could speak to and was told by Ana Sofia she was the Manager and that their program was from a “third party” and there’s nothing she could do. I never asked to be rewarded, but if a business is telling me I have a certain amount of rewards to be credited in my next visit, I’d suspect that they should honor up and make it right. It clearly shows disregard to customer satisfaction or loyalty. Besides, one could think of it as “bait and switch”. This isn’t about money, but about principle.
