Panda Express — Restaurant in Flagstaff

Well this time the food was better. It was food to see them doing food temp logs to make sure everything was up to health code. Service was friendly, not fast, but they can improve on that. Prices..omg, now this shows how old I am, but.....you used to be able to buy a whole meal with a drink for under $10?! Now?...nope. just their cheapest option after taxes is $9+. Drinks, if fountain, are $2+ for a SMALL DRINK. And forget about their specialty drink that are right next to the register. They are more than the fountain drink(I am open to being wrong, but the signage didn't specify or wasn't there at all)!!! This was lunch at Noon, but they could've at least had someone wiping tables down and spot sweeping is all I'm saying. This location is rather new, and it was disappointing to see the mess in there. Now this may seem petty,BUT, it's a shame if you want a zero sugar beverage, you have to BUY A BOTTLE of Coke Zero instead of getting it from the fountain drink machine. Do they have Diet Coke?, yes they do, but ask any diabetic (👋), the difference in taste is apparent . Shift manager(?) Was nice enough to ask if everything was ok. Went to the newer Panda Express for the first time today. While waiting in line at least 3 of the cooks were making very loud hurling noises like they were throwing up and not all at once. They were doing it to get a rise out of people and thought it was funny which was evident by one of the young men's reactions. After he made the noise and looked up to see who was looking he looked at me. I shook my head to show my annoyance with it. The young man just smiled really big and went about doing his job. This went on for about 10 min while there was a line of waiting people to the door. You could tell the other customers were annoyed and disgusted by it. We finally got our food and went to sit down. There were nothing but dirty tables. I had to clean one myself. Even after things had calmed down a bit no one came to clean any tables. I couldn't eat my food after that. My husband was almost done and a young lady walked around the tables etc picking up trash and the like but still didn't clean the tables. I'm not sure we're ever coming here again! My appetite was lost when the cooks were the ones making noises for 10 minutes that they were throwing up and the cleanliness is obviously not...

I live 100 miles away from this location, and last night, I was in town alone. I stopped by just before closing to get the next day's lunch for my honey and I. Today, we opened up the to-go containers to find that my honey's order was missing the 2 entrees. I called them, and they said they'll compensate us if we come within 30 days with the receipt... I think we can swing that. I took 2 stars away because of the inconvenience and disappointment. It's my opinion that they need to lower the prices if the customer is expected to assume the position of Quality Control Officer by monitoring the servers to make sure they give the right to-go co trainers, and/or check the order after they hand it to the customer.
