I spent I pretty good portion of my childhood in Flagstaff and this was were my mom would take me as a kid cause she dif she didn't cut our hair at home, (she had a masters in cosmetology so getting cut at home wasn't too bad). This place was my nightmare. The barbers there sorta just do their own thing no matter what you tell them, it like a game of telephone where they always hear you wrong. When I was about twelve I went there and asked for the length to be kept somewhat on the top and for the sides to be cleaned up a little, they shaved my sides bald and I looked like spider Gwen as a crack addict. I HATED this place because they did something like this everytime I went throughout my childhood. I found a better place fortunately and they have been doing me good since I started going. One dayI really needed a haircut because my hair was a mess and I was seeing someone the next day, and the barber I was going to was closed till the day after I had seen this person. The only barber open was Metro. So I went, surely after so many years they had to have gotten new, better people. But no. My request was an inch off the top and the sides trimmed up a little bit, not too much right. Well I think the guy heard I only wanted an inch on the top because that's what he gave me. Imagine a buzz cut with scissors, and giant chunks missing from random spots. I had been growing out my hair for months at that point and then all of my progress gone in a split. Then after that I go to pay the 27 dollars it usually costs and this mf looks at me dead in the eyes and goes " it's actually gonna be $35 today" right after theiven all of my hair. Please parents, don't make your kids go here. Id recommend One of One barber lounge if you need a haircut here. This isn't...
Read moreI took my son on a Monday afternoon to skip the weekend rush to get his haircut. Two people are already getting their haircuts and one person is ahead of me, so my son and I sit and wait. A guy comes in after me to get his haircut, thinking my son will be next to get his haircut the older gentleman cutting hair says he doesn’t do kids hair and takes the guy who came in after me. Somebody could have had the courtesy to tell me that a barber does not cut kids hair, or switch with the other barber so I wouldn’t have waited wasting my time! The older gentleman tells me he didn’t know I was there to get my sons haircut. Clearly as a women I do not go to barbershops to get my haircut so the only other person to get their haircut would be my son. I ask for the manager or their number and the guy says he doesn’t have it. The other barber kindly offered to cut my sons hair next but by that time I didn’t want to wait longer. I’ve had good experiences here before but I will no longer waste my time going here. I’ll go to a barber that cuts anyone’s hair, kids or adult!!! Put a sign up stating certain barbers don’t cut children’s hair so no ones time gets...
Read moreWent in there for a haircut and during the part of the straight razor she cuts my eyebrow, during that time she said “oops not the eyebrow” with a laughing kind of tone so I thought oh no big deal she “almost” cut it. No I was wrong, I’m driving home and notice a chunk of my eyebrow is gone. I called and spoke with the same lady that cut my hair and right off the bat she was rude, I told her what happened and that I wanted my money back and she said in no way would I get a refund at all or anything. I tipped her extremely well and the only help was her offering the $9 dollar tip back. That’s not worth going back for when you live on the other side of town. She said her manager would not refund the 21 dollars for the haircut and shampoo. They are very rude and unprofessional, if you want a half decent haircut go to Fantastic Sams cause this place is a joke. Keep the $30 Metro Barber shop, I...
