I go to this store quite often and on Monday went for part of my son’s costume. Got a zip up light coat and the zipper was broken. I came in Tuesday with receipt on hand and found a different jacket my son liked. Couldn’t get it because I had $1 to my name and they still wouldn’t give me the same 50% that I got on the receipt. They should have just over rode the price to the 50% off I got a week ago. Instead they want me to go on Monday to try and get that coat for my son and hoping it still there. And as far as the manager L is rude and snatched the receipt out of my hand. I will never go to the store again. And only donate broken items that should go to the trash. Apparently there motto is sell broken things to good customers to try to make some money. This is horrible that we have to purchase items that are broken and they say they marked it down from the price. I don’t work there but have lots of experience in sales and customer service that with all the items that are broken in that store it would take them too long to over ride the price to fix the prices. One day everyone will catch on. Don’t go there. Might as well go to goodwill better. At least they help people find jobs and donate spare change to people who need it instead of selling broken items just to make some money. Never...
Read moreI live out of town and haven’t been going here much in the last few years. I wasn’t aware of all the changes they made. No more changing rooms. I was told that I could exchange (I should have asked more specifically here what this meant) my items if they didn’t fit. Figured I could try on in my vehicle what didn’t fit and get a refund. I had 50% off a max $100 shopping transaction. Then, I come to find out once I try to return most of everything that didn’t fit me, that I couldn’t get a refund, or gift card. Exchange ONLY within 14 days. The last time I had to deal with a thrift store not having change room rooms was at Goodwill, and at least they will give you a gift card for anything you return. I live several hours out of town and wasn’t going to be coming back to Flagstaff for quite some time, so I had to spend more my time in the store trying to find things of equal value to exchange. In the end, I didn’t find anything I really liked and I just left with $100 worth of things that were just OK and overpriced, because I needed something that fit me and not what I wanted. Savers used to be great, not anymore. I’m done with that place. What a waste of...
Read moreWe have long been members of Savers Thrift Store in Albuquerque and we're happy to see they had one in Flagstaff Arizona upon our recent visit. The product availability was fairly okay that's what they get the two stars for and then they get a 0 twice for customer service. We were looking for a couple of items and I wasn't able to readily find them. I noticed a store employee a young man pushing a wheelbarrow looking thing and I tried to get his attention for quite some time calling for 3-6 Isles and he still would not acknowledge me. I got behind him about 4 ft and he finally turned around. A female employee came up and took responsibility for the fact that I was upset with him for not acknowledging me. So by the time I got to the register it was all over the store there was nothing they would do for me or give me or be polite to me in any way shape or form. We felt it was important to point out the rudeness of these employees as they do not give other Savers...
