I called the Pie Guy’s phone number to inquire about what flavors they had available today. They don’t have a store front but operate out of a commercial kitchen and sell in convenience stores. Since I was from Show Low AZ (2 Hours away) I unfortunately couldn’t place order for pick up the following morning. I was texted a list of stores that had their pies. I went to a Chevron station right around the corner from my location. I purchased the Chocolate Cream, and the Strawberry Rhubarb pies. The crusts and the fillings were delicious!! My family loves them! They couldn’t wait till Mother’s Day to get into them!!😍 So if you’re ever out and about, stop into these stores and grab a absolute delicious pie! These 4 stores carry our pies: Mobil at Butler and I 40 Silver Saddle on 89 in Doney Park Marathon Station on 4th and 7th Chevron at Highway 180 and Forest

we stopped at a gas station and got one of the pies. I thought it tasted really good but my girlfriend went beserk with pie lust. she looked up the other pies that this guy makes and she had to have them. She texted him what pies he had available. He said he could make her any type and I don’t know if he does this for everyone or if he knew that she was going to bust through his kitchen wall like the coolaid guy and eat everything in sight. Now whenever we go up to flagstaff she texts this poor guy at any hour of the day to order pies. Their text thread is getting lengthy

I purchased an apple crumb from the local gas station in Flagstaff. When I got home to eat the pie, it had strong aftertastes that were displeasing. The topping had an almost dish soap aftertaste and the apples had a musty aftertaste. It even smells off. Not a fan 😡

My wife and I live in Houston and were in Phoenix for our nephew's wedding when we decided to take a couple days to go see some sites (Grand Canyon and Meteor Crater). After a couple hours in the car, we stopped to use a restroom at the Shell station on Kachina Blvd off I-17 near Flagstaff. We usually buy something if we make a restroom stop because it seems rude to us not to. My wife points out the Strawberry Rhubarb pie because she's always heard me talk of my mom's rhubarb pie but has never seen it. Rhubarb has never caught on in the southeast for some reason unknown to me. Anyway, I pooh-poohed the idea because, come on.....Gas station pie? I don't think so. I went to the restroom and when I returned she was at the counter paying for the pie. "The cashier says it's good" she chirped. Naturally, I was overjoyed about gas station pie (insert sarcasm here) so I didn't look at it, let alone touch it, until the next day. Bleary-eyed from the road trip and the weekend's festivities but still on Central time, I awoke early at The Lodge in Williams, AZ. Since it was too early to wake my wife, I grabbed a cup of coffee from the Circle-K down the street from our motel and returned. Trying to be a good sport, I sat down to the pie my bride had purchased the day prior. Timidly, I poked at the crust with the flimsiest of plastic forks. You know the kind, really short white fork that bends as you remove it from the plastic. As I poked I was expecting the tines of the under-engineered fork to strain, warp and bend as they were cajoled and flogged through the perfectly browned concrete facade that represented a crust. To my surprise, the crust yielded to the slightest pressure but didn't crumble into sandy bits. Hmmm, Nice! Fork was intact. Bite.......The crust was really good......Whoa! I mean REALLY GOOD! Must be something wrong with the filling I thought....too much strawberry, too little rhubarb, too much saucey stuff......something. Nothing. I mean NOTHING! Not too tart. Not too sweet. Perfectly balanced. Crust at the bottom was every bit as excellent as everything above it. This is not bad pie. This is not even "good" pie. This is Great pie. I've traveled extensively and eaten my share of pies. We really like Paula Dean's place in SC and every time I'm there I stand in line to bring a pie back for my wife. And while I'm no food critic, I will say this; Pie Guys pie stands alone at the pinnacle of pies as far as I'm concerned. Furthermore, consider this: Rhubarb, while being good, isn't my favorite pie. But THIS pie, this golden, flaky, perfectly filled pie from a gas station in Flagstaff is the best pie I've ever had, period. Paula's doesn't touch it, and that's saying something. And so I say to Paula: Sorry, dear, but you've been replaced at the pinnacle of Pie Peak. To the Pie Guys: Wish we lived closer, we'd happily put any kids you might have through medical school. To my wife: Please allow me to eat some humble pie for doubting your purchase. My only request is that the four and twenty blackbirds are baked by the Pie Guys! Lastly to anyone who passes through or lives in Flagstaff: If you wait a single day before trying one of these pies, you will want to have your head examined. DO NOT pass up a chance to try Pie...

Absolutely the best pies you will ever eat !!!!! Happened to be staying in Flagstaff for a night after hiking the Grand Canyon. Our group wanted to celebrate our GG adventure with a delicious dessert, it was decided that a pie sounded like the perfect treat ! Well, we googled restaurants that offered pies , etc. And we noticed that the pie guy's reviews seemed well beyond what the restaurant pie reviews were getting! So, we checked out the pie guy's website and were able to find out a local gas station (we texted the contact number & the pie guy graciously replied with the info ! Woohoooo! Thank you pie guy ! ) that stocked fresh pie guy's pies...well...O.M.G....when I say we were all in utter shock and disbelief at how AMAZING the pies were ! We bought a banana cream pie and Strawberry rhubarb. Honestly, we have all eaten many pies over the years, that we thought were delicious. But, damn, I dare say , we had been eating pie slop compared to this mouth watering, delicious pie perfection! Everything is perfection , the crust , the filling. Everything. Honestly, if I lived in Flagstaff or even nearby I would be ordering these pies weekly. Don't pass up a chance to blow your pie loving taste buds ! You will...

Picked up a Pie Guy’s cherry pie at the Farmers Market in Flagstaff on our way back home to Tempe. My husband and I love love love cherry pie. This pie was Seriously the Best cherry pie - possibly best pie, period, that we have ever eaten. O.M.G. - it’s absolute perfection from the crust, to the tart vs sweet, to the amount of juiciness..... I rarely if Ever write Reviews.... but this pie simply demands that I do. Run run run to Pie Guys in Flagstaff!! We will be getting pie there literally every time we go there, now.... and dreaming of it when we cannot!!! You guys are incredible!

P.S. adding a note June 2025: picked up a French Apple Pie from Kachina Shell location on the way home from Flagstaff: JUST AS incredible as my previous experiences with The Pie Guy! Also : his prices have stayed the same !! Amazing !!! Hey I recommended to my friend too and she picked up a cherry and a bisbeeberry to take home to her family and Pie Guy has 3 more Big Fans! She professed to not be much of a “pie” person but Pie Guy changed that! Keep up the fantastic job Pie Guy! You make...
