Virami's Pizza — Restaurant in Flemington

To the gentleman complaining about the 10$ minimum, it is very common to see small businesses charging a credit card minimum, if this is an issue for you there are other places you can eat. But most pizza places in the flemington area have that sign up.

I find the virami's has excellent pizza. Their crust is crisp with just enough dough in it to be tasty, it never tastes stale. The cheese ratio is ideal, never exceeding too much. I highly recommend his salad pizza as it is the best pizza I have ever tasted.

The owner may seem gruff, but he is very friendly, and polite once you start talking to him. I used to be a little off put by him, but as I went more often and got to know him, he's a very nice individual who asks after me and about my life, even though he doesn't need to.

I just moved to the area and was looking for a place to call my "pizza home" lol. I heard this place was the best in the area so we tried it out. We ordered a large buffalo chicken pizza - delicious! But that honestly wasn't the best part.... The man behind the counter (maybe the owner? I should have gotten his name) and I were chatting about chicken wings (I'm from upstate NY and ALWAYS looking for good wings down here in Jersey - hard to come by). When my pizza was ready, he kindly through in a few chicken wings to take home and try. Kind gestures and good food... I'll be back for sure. Virami's Pizza gives off an old-school, Jersey Shore pizzeria vibe. Something about the benches outside, the walkway up to the entrance, and wooden benches inside make me feel like it's the middle of July and I'm grabbing a slice or two after spending the day soaking up some sun.

On this visit, I decided to go with the tomato slice in addition to my usual plain slice. It looked really good behind the glass countertop and it did not disappoint taste-wise. The tomatoes were juicy, the cheese was melty and plentiful. The slice also had a delicious garlic seasoning. The plain slice tasted like your standard Jersey slice.
