This was my first time at this location. I placed an order online for the You Pick-2 "meal" option, which came to roughly $11 for a half of a chicken sandwich and a half salad. To be honest I did request a few customizations to my order (dressings on side for salad, no bacon on Sammy, add lettuce to Sammy, and add croutons to salad). I didn't think that my requests were TOO crazy. But... I did order around 1:30pm, so the place was still busy from the lunch rush, and I get that. However...
The chicken in my sandwich looked extremely undercooked. Description says sandwich has "smoked chicken". Ok, wel it was the palest, sickliest chicken I've ever had the displeasure of laying my eyes on. I had to go home and place the chicken from the sandwich into a pan to cook it more thoroughly because I was honestly afraid of getting a tapeworm, salmonella, or E. Coli from eating it. I'm glad I'm in the habit of checking my "fast" food take out before putting it in my mouth.
Ok, and they forgot the lettuce. Gasp!!!
I know, I know. There are children starving in third-world countries and I'm complaining about not getting lettuce on my sandwich. I am terrible! But, truth be told I'm not made out of money and I rarely order food from restaurants, so forgive me if I want a little crunch on my chicken Sammy after forking over eleven of my precious dollars 😒
So, I stand at the counter for a good 3 minutes, while at least four workers walked in front of/past me during that time... and not one of them bothered to look up or make eye contact with me.
Eventually my telepathic mind powers worked because one gentleman with a beard noticed me waiting, apologized, and asked what he can do for me. I said that I'd like a few pieces of lettuce. Simple yeah?
But to be ignored by multiple workers at the back counter? Extremely rude. One worker even answered a phone while I was standing there! What... The... Hell...
Salad seemed decent. I'm glad Panera changed their menu, finally, to include more additions, toppings, healthier salad options, etc. including quinoa, ancient grain blend, and edamame. Would love to see them carry garbanzo beans/chickpeas though!
As for the place itself, I couldn't find an electrical outlet for the life of me! I needed to work on some things on my laptop with a dying battery, yet no outlets were to be found so I could plug into the Matrix mainframe. The WiFi is a nice touch, though, IF your devices are charged. I gave up and decided to...
Read moreI will NEVER visit this Panera again. The gal that took my order was very rude. As soon as I stated that I was celiac and needed my order to be gluten free she had an attitude towards me. I checked out the gluten free options on line before i came into the restaurant so I knew exactly what I wanted. I ordered a salad to eat there and 2 bowls of soup to go, without the bread or any side dishes and a glass of tea. She was INSTITANT I had to order a side dish. Baguette, chips or an apple. I told her twice, very nicely, I didn't want a side dish. After she started to raise her voice in front of other customers I gave in and said an apple. When I checked my receipt I noticed she did not charge a tea to my bill. She then asked if there was a problem and I said you didn't get my tea. By this time I was ready to just leave because she was making such a scene in front of other customers. I wanted to just get out of there. Two other cashiers stopped .me and asked if they could help me. I told them how rude she was being and they commented she is rude to everybody. THEN WHY IS SHE IN PUBLIC SERVICE??!!!!! She not only embarrassed me in front of strangers but my own family as well. I just wanted to leave quietly. Then when I picked up my order, the soup was not made to go. . Very, very disappointing and one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a...
Read moreOn 11/28/23 at 1:45 I got in line to place my order. Two cashiers were taking orders and I was third in line. When it was my turn the female cashier walked away. After a few minutes the male stated he would ask someone to help me as he was getting bagels for his customer. The female walked by and he asked her to help me , she said nothing and walked toward the food pickup area. After a few minutes she returned and stated she could help who is next, never giving eye contact. She took my order and asked how I wanted my bread sliced. I asked for it to be thin. She put gloves on but just before picking up my bread, she rubbed the side of her nose with her gloved hand. She proceeded to slice and bag my bread. An older woman that appeared to be a supervisor entered the area and the cashier did a 180 and became very friendly and smiled as she handed me my bread and told me to have a great day. The name on my receipt is Monica. She was either having a very bad day or is a fake person with zero customer service skills or health skills. I always leave this location a bit disappointed as my order is usually wrong. This time my order was correct and well...
