Out of all of the Chipotle restaurants I’ve been to before, this is by far the worst one. If you are looking to get your food in a reasonable amount of time, do NOT go here and absolutely do NOT order online.
There is only one person doing online orders at a small station that is often slower than the walk-in line. I’ve been to this Chipotle on two occasions (both of which I ordered online and arrived at my designated pick-up time), where the walk-in line has been out the door. Not only did I wait over 30 minutes for my order both times, but the individuals at the end of the walk-in line have gotten my food BEFORE me. Not only that, but our order had the wrong entree in it all together. Then trying to get it corrected resulted in waiting an additional 15 minutes. That is a ridiculous system where they do not prioritize the online orders despite them ordering ahead of time - it defeats the purpose of the order ahead all together.
On our first visit, we observed first-hand that the manager attempted to assist the other staff, but was asking CONSTANT questions on how to make various items. Their effort was appreciated, but the consistent questions and lack of knowledge actually slowed down the whole process even further. The manager also got upset and angrily stormed off after not being able to successfully assist.
On our second visit, we also overheard various staff members state that the manager now refuses to assist with various tasks when they are busy. We even saw the manager completely leave the restaurant during a surge of online and walk-in customers. I wouldn’t be so disappointed if my experience was poor once, but the fact that it happened multiple times showed me that this was a pattern.
The only reason I give this review two stars instead of one is for the effort that the current non-managerial staff is putting into making the food. Thank you for your work. However, new management is DEFINITELY needed before I will even consider...
Read moreThis has to single-handedly be the worst operated/managed Chipotle in America.
The store is visibly filthy with dried food on the tables and floor. Even the hot table looks like it’s never been cleaned. 9 out of 10 visits finds this store looking as though a tornado has recently ripped through it.
After waiting in line debating whether you actually want to risk the food born illness(es) that most certainly awaits you, you’re greeted by a burrito artist who has surly been trained to make you feel as though you’ve interrupted them with your mundane needs. You need them, they don’t need you.
Once you gather your whits from this jarring interaction you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the “30 min wait for rice”, “out of chicken”, or the classic “we ain’t got no sour cream”. The intricate and strategic planning of being out of virtually any item that makes this a burrito business lends itself to a tension among the cue of patrons aimlessly waiting around the disgusting dining room thicker than the aging queso that’s baked onto the trash receptacle.
Should you be brave enough to wait 20-30 minutes for the items you actually desire you’ll be lucky enough to continue your walk on eggshells the rest of the way down the hot table until finally reaching the actively dying or potentially already dead inside cashier who will stare through you with dead cold eyes as they mutter “$23.15” if anything at all. “Rewards?” you quietly ask, the cashier quickly points to a sauce stained 6 month old piece of paper that reads “rewards down”. It’s at that moment, your value as a customer is fully realized and you think “it can only get better right?”.
On your way toward the door as you’re scrambling to text your significant other the reasoning for being at Chipotle for 53 minutes you reach for a handful of napkins… not here...
Read moreHave never had Chipotle but after reading the reviews for the Miller road location I guess I should be glad that my order never arrived. I work 3rd - 12 hours shifts at a local hospital, unable to leave for food, after over an hour and a half wait, the food never arrived and was left to eat chips out of the vending machine. At 8:25 p.m., I placed an order for myself and a coworker thru Chipotle online, one burrito with side of guac, and a bowl with an order of chips and salsa, $45 with a 20% tip, it said GrubHub delivers and would be there by 8:55. At 9:05 I called the customer service number for Chipotle listed, was on hold 18minutes before I tried calling again from another phone number, still no answer so I left a callback number. The food tracker showed the order was being picked up by two different drivers, tried to call each number but it said those numbers were no longer available. Finally at 10:00 p.m. it said my order was canceled. I received a call back AT 12:03 AM!!!! The man said "Chipotle customer service, how can I help you?" I could not believe that I was receiving a call that early in the morning (thankfully awake bc working) and 2.5 hours after my call??? I was told that my order would be refunded in 5 business days and he would send me a code for a free meal in my wallet. I asked how that would be possible since I checked out as a guest and had no wallet through Chipotle? Then said it would be emailed, which never came. Also 5 business days for food never received???? A couple of days later I sent an email to customer service to which they replied with sending me a code for a free meal to my email as originally promised. After finally being reimbursed, I am left with a 16-cent charge on my bank account, and NO ONE WILL RESPOND! Seriously awful awful awful...
