Halo Burger (Saginaw Street) — Restaurant in Flint

I got to be honest, I gave up on the place. There was a time when I went there pretty regularly. Even then the service and the food could be sort of a hit or miss. But after several bad experiences in a row, I decided it was simply no longer worth spending my money there. It is sad because the place could often be so polar opposite. There were at times when I had tremendously good service and other times where they made you feel like it was a burden for me to order from there. Times when the food tasted amazing to times where it was just blah. The service could be incredibly slow at times. Now, I try to give them some what of a break, because I know they make it to order/some what to order, but 30 mins for a place like that is not a reasonable wait time. The place could sometimes be pretty clean to just down right filthy (I know this can be in part from customers not taking care of their own stuff like they should, but it was filthy at times). There were a few times where my stomach was a little upset after eating there and it started feeling that way after eating there. The fact I gave it a few chances after feeling that way should indicate I tried giving it chances, most places I won't go back if the food makes me upset. My schedule has changed somewhat so I am not down there for lunch as much anymore (I would usually go on Fridays when I did) but honestly, even if I was, I still probably wouldn't go. Extremely disappointed with this location. My whole family loves halo burger but every single time we go here the food takes 2x as long as other locations to get even with nobody else in line. With that said I don't mind a wait to me that isn’t the big part of the problem, but if i wait patiently for my food it shouldn’t be thrown together with enough sauce on it to drown a small dog. I didn’t even bother eating mine and my boyfriend made it through two bites before tossing his too. This place never ceases to amaze me in just how many things they can get wrong in an order. I have never had a satisfactory experience at this particular Halo Burger. Today, I ordered a double cheeseburger with no pickles and onion rings instead of fries. They charged me for onion rings but gave me fries. Also, the burger still had pickles and they ADDED olives! I didn't ask for olives, and I'm also very allergic to olives! I don't know how you can screw up one order that much.
