Market Tap — Restaurant in Flint

I wish I could leave zero stars… If you’re looking to have a wedding at the flint farmers market, be ready to be bent over by the market tap, worst bartenders, not worth the cost. Told our guest we paid for the basic package which was anything but basic priced!. We chose the base level liquor, Beer and wine package, opposed to top shelves. It was far from a discount package. The agreement was that when the bar was closed for dinner hour, the water and sodas would still be available, the denied our guest soda at this time and even denied one of our guests water for her child!!! They are ruining a good thing, the farmers market is a non-profit while the owners of this bar ( Lurvey construction) is raking in the money screwing over people, knowing they are the only option for a bar at the market.. Horrible experience wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy, I wish they would bring a new bar in that doesn’t take advantage of the great venue that the farmers market is. We chose the market as our wedding location because it was so rich in culture, and meant a lot to us as a couple. Market Tap is GREAT!!! With a lllooonngg list of beers and ciders plus mixed drinks, (cliché alert) there's something for everyone. Friendly service. Cool view from the balcony. Food was available that night from Mexico at the Market. I'm still thinking about those Barbacoa Tacos!! OMG SO good! The entertainment was EXCELLENT!!! I can't say enough. I had a wonderful craft beer. We were here Saturday and noticed Sunday that my wife had left her purse hanging on the chair. We are visiting from Sarasota FL, and supposed to leave Tuesday. Farmers market would be closed until Tuesday. So I left a message on the answering machine but didn't have much hope.
