donut shop Cafe — Restaurant in Florence

I was excited yesterday to bring my daughters here to get a sweet treat! We walked in smiling and I simply asked if they still had some donuts. The reply and look on the ladies face (like we were stupid) “I HAVE NO DONUTS & WE CLOSE IN 10 MINUTES, SORRY!” That was that. Working in a restaurant for 14 years I realize 10 mins till closing is the WORSE timing for someone to walk in. You’ve done cleaned and ready to go, but to treat me and my daughters as if we are stupid for even asking was the rudest way to go about it! All she had to say was we close in 10 minutes and I would have totally understood! I told her she didn’t have to be so rude to us and that I’d leave a review and she said “your welcome” .. people are suppose to be welcomed so they want to come back! Not yelled at for not knowing what time they close! My daughters went around telling everyone because they never see anyone act or talk that way and not care that is in any Type of customer service! Always great food and typically friendly staff. However my past couple experiences haven’t been the best with the same lady! She is very rude and impatient. She gets easily irritated due to the slightest misunderstandings or miscommunication which isn’t good customer service may I say….. my last encounter I called ahead of time to place an order about 25 minutes before closing. She was very rude telling me they were about to close. also informing me that everything would be put up I shouldn’t have called so late. Once I assured her I would be there before closing time she allowed me to place my order but it didn’t come easy. If you ask her any questions or add to your order she gets visibly upset and gives serious attitude. She’s a bigger lady with long hair brown roots blonde pony tail. Hasn’t been there too long and clearly won’t last much longer with her...

UPDATE: After the past several visits, the service is headed downhill. The younger people tending the front counter are not very attentive to the customers' needs. Multiple times, my wife and I have gone in there and seen our food be brought to the counter and sat down and forgotten as others that came in after us are served and leaving. We are definitely not in a hurry to return to this location.
