Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Florence

I came to this Sonic because I was staying the night at a local hotel on the 4th of July, and this was the closest place that was open. Angel took my order, and I asked for a sonic burger with cheese, dry, with no onions, and I'd like the lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles on the side with ketchup and mustard packets. Angel said "so you want everything on the side" and I said yes ant she said "I guess". She then repeated the burger order and asked if I wanted it plain and dry and I said yes, with no onions and the vegetables on the side. Angel then said "So not plain and dry". I quickly ordered the rest of my food, and tried to make it as easy as possible because I was uncomfortable. When I got back to the hotel, I told my wife what happened and she was upset and called the sonic to speak to the manager. She spoke to Fred about what happened, but he didn't seem to care and only said "Oh, I'll talk to her" while talking to someone else in the background, so we didn't even have his full attention. I had my niece in the car, and she was as uncomfortable with the way Angel took the order as I was. She seemed very upset about being there and acted as if I was an inconvenience for ordering food there. I spent $32.39 in food for my family, and was treated terrible because she didn't want to take an order for a person who has health conditions and has to be very particular about what and how much they can eat.

We also placed the complaint with corporate and was returned with an email giving a free 44 drink.

I don’t want a free drink. I wanted the situation handled better. How about a write up and retraining. It felt like they didn’t care. I do not believe I will be returning to any sonic...

I don't know who is managing this place now but whoever is, they are doing a phenomenal job! The younger people they have working there are amazing as well! I went 2 nights this week and both times I had a great experience which is extremely rare in fast food. The other day I got an m&m sonic blast with extra m&ms and they ACTUALLY put EXTRA in the ice cream! I didn't pay for extra and not get what I wanted (which is also extremely rare in fast food) I went today and they originally got the burger I ordered wrong but when I confronted them they were very nice about the situation and even sent out a whole new fresh burger even after I told them that wasn't necessary that they could just add what I wanted to the burger I already had. Frequently go to this location due to it being close to home and kids want it. But most of the time I either get home with something missing from the order or condiments that I asked to not be put on my burger, will be on it. Today for example ordered supersonic double bacon cheeseburger with only mustard and ketchup. Got home it had mustard ketchup and MAYO all over it. My wife had the chicken club toaster with extra pickles and onions and of course, it didn't have extra on there. Strike 3 on 1 visit was the fact that they forgot to even bring out 1 of my drinks had to pull around in drive thru to get it.
