El Cabrito Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Florence

The prices are great, the food is yummy and all the service is courteous. I called in an order to go and when it wasn't ready upon my arrival one of the very kind employees delivered it to my car for me because my Grandpuppy was in the car waiting and I kept watching him thru the window, when the employee realized this fact he offered to bring it out. Thoughtful employees to say the least and the kitchen staff is very good at preparing a great meal with great plate presentation, even in a to go order that flipped upside down when I flipped a U-turn on 49. LOL. The fried ice cream was presented differently than what I've experienced before even after the upside down right side up flip, it still looked great and was a great treat several times it was so large.

Thank you for cooking for both my Grandpuppy and I while we are on the road in this area.

The chips and salsa are nice - some of the best I've had at a Mexican restaurant. I always get the happy plate. It's their rice with veggies and your choice of meat or meats smothered in queso, but not on a bad way, and it comes with 3 soft tortillas. It's not enough tortillas to use up all the food on the plate in the tortillas, but it's still pretty fantastic without being in a tortilla. The employees are pretty great, too. Not all of them speak English very well, but I've met men born and raised here with English supposedly being their first language around the age of these employees who still manage to butcher the English language worse than these guys. All in all, great place!...

Our first time here, arrived just off of “peak”. Around 7:40 pm. Was seated timely, served chips & salsa, given menus, spoke with server, ordered drinks… all within 2 minutes of being seated. Nice menu, lots of options, some dishes I had not seen. The kids plates had a good selection even though not needed for our visit. Our order was taken, food delivered quickly. Our server was, friendly, helpful, attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is great. Clean floors. All employees were in a restaurant garment of so kind, (you didn’t have to guess who worked there). Nice place. We had mid priced entrees and added an appetizer our check was a little over $30 for two. Happy...
