Hi there. I'm a server at this restaurant and I'll be darned if I'm not the hardest working server of all time. I care deeply about an enjoyable and efficient breakfast/brunch experience for every person that walks through the door (and the second door LOL) and gives me a chance to serve them.
Here's my philosophy, healthy food is a staple in a happy life. And if you trust me to serve that to you, I will not let you down. I will bring you coffee and I will take your order diligently and carefully. Then when I take it back to the kitchen, I first tell the cook about you. I tell them about your nice smile and your soft, polite gaze. Then I explain that you don't just want a pesto chicken quinoa bowl with a Kale Tonic, you want something that will fuel you to becoming a better person. Then when I deliver your food, I do so with haste. It is EXTREMELY important to me that your food is fresh and that you aren't waiting and wasting time; time that could be spent being a positive influence on someone's life.
I'm going to completely honest with you, I have made mistakes before. I once served a man a pancake with pecans, when he wanted a waffle with pecans. Immediately you could see the melancholy sweep over my face. I treated the situation as if I were helping my own family, and made sure he got the waffle he wanted and deserved. Even though I turned this into a positive, learning experience, I'd be lying if I told you I slept soundly that night.
In conclusion, I consider myself the standard for a server in the food industry. I care about this job and I care about my guests. Thank you for reading and come see me, because if I am your server, you will be added to my nightly prayer list. Thank you and...
Read moreThe Food here is 5 Stars! I love most First Watches, this one in particular has great hostesses and it was very well kept up. The only problem I had was with my take out order, I specifically ordered my skillet hash no bacon, for religious purposes. I called spoke the hostess she said when I’m back in the area I could call or come in and state my name and receive the same order. I did just that. Instead the manager awkwardly came up to me with my food in his hand and stated to me not to expect r this type of treatment again as if I was trying to get the food for free, I explained him the situation and he he said the hostess or whomever I spoke to said this was not company policy and she should of mailed me a gift card. If that was the case he should of let the hostess know and they could of explained that the day of to the hostess and not to me I would of gladly waited for the gift card instead he decided to speak to me rudely as if I was trying to get food for me telling me not to expect this ever again, and to come in next time. Those issues were not my issues it was the companies he should train his hostesses pertaining to food that was not made right not me I do not work there I was just picking up an order that was replaced instead I was lectured then handed my food as if I was a child. The manager was rude spiteful and wanted to play some type of authority role, that was not necessary especially to the customer who did nothing wrong. Never going back to...
Read moreI’ve lived in the area for a few years now, and considered going to this place for a lunch/brunch meal a few times but was always told it was not great service and it kept me away. I figured I would finally just give them a chance so we went in, we were greeted by a friendly hostess, seeing the wait for a table inside for two was likely long, we opted to sit outside since it was nice and not too hot - she accommodated us within a short time and got us seated. Only two other tables sat outside (2 top & 4 top) so not too crowded. We waited about 20 minutes for someone to come, at least bring us water and acknowledge our presence. Meanwhile at least 4 different people, a server and 3 different runners came in and out, and the server even at two separate times was out and asked the other tables how everything was, asking if they could get anything else (right next to us) and at no point made any acknowledgment…not even a “hey let me see where your server is” if they were in fact not our server…I hate to say it but I should have just listened to what I was told. I don’t mind paying what restaurants charge so long as the service is there to back it up. We opted to leave as we still hadn’t been greeted, and no one even noticed we left when we walked out....
