Our server was great. The food that we could get tasted like old times. There was little to choose from as the buffet stayed empty from all the people with togo boxes crowding the buffet so as soon as food came out, customers who dine in might get something if they wait long enough. I never saw anyone come out to wipe around the buffet or clean up the food off the floor around the buffet. That was a mess. It seemed that every plate we picked up was greasy on the bottom and still had food stuck to them. I tried passing a dirty plate to a young man that walked passed me and he told me to give it to someone else. Child, it's not my job to hunt someone to give dirty dishes to when an employee is standing in front of me! Final thoughts- Was it worth $65 for a family of 4? Not today and probably won't be for a few weeks. The dishwasher definitely needs to be checked out. Someone needs to be cleaning the buffet area. I expected some mishaps and I knew I should've waited a few months but excitement got the best of me..we'll try again after summer break and then I review again. Congrats and...
Read morei usually don’t leave reviews unless it’s necessary. this was my 2nd time trying this place. i have tried the fried rice, lo mein, shrimp egg rolls, and chicken with broccoli. the fried rice is tasty, but the bottom is VERY oily. have to dump it out and mix before eating. shrimp egg rolls are also VERY oily. they are good & crispy but dripping with oil. lo mein, no flavor whatsoever. not your typical noodle or brown sauce. very off-putting. now to the chicken w/ broccoli…it is ALWAYS in a brown sauce at any other spot. the doordash menu says brown sauce. this was in a white sauce. it was absolutely disgusting. the chicken was very slimy and sour. i took one bite and spit it out. i am extremely disappointed in this place as some reviews are great and i’ve heard good things from others. not sure what food i’ve been eating vs other people but it is nowhere near “good”…the fried rice is the closest thing to good. there are much better places to get chinese food. this place won’t get any more...
Read moreHere's my honest review as someone who came here all the time before the restaurant closed down:
The food here now honestly tastes close to how it originally did. I would get shrimp fried rice, pepper beef, lo mein, wings, and a couple other foods.
•Pepper beef is great, especially when mixed with the lo mein. •Lo mein is the same and still has onions in it, seems less oily than it used to be. •Chicken wings were good and still tasted the same, but different at the same time. Like some have the original flavor more than others do. I feel like they could definitely improve them •Shrimp fried rice tasted kinda the same, also feel like the taste/flavor could be improved, but not bad!
Our waitress was also very lovely and kind, along with constantly checking to make sure if we needed anything. I honestly felt at home/safe around her, and I don't feel that often with people I haven't met before! So if y'all come here, ask...
