Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Florence

I thought I had found a regular weekend place to get ice cream for the family. Ordering online I was so impressed with an order i placed a week ago I ordered again this week and left a decent sized tip as I was ordering $70 worth of icecream and was expecting the same service as before. Big mistake when I got there 45 min after my order should have been ready and in the freezer I got there and went straight to the online ordering line. This place seems to forget when an order is placed online the customer has scanned the menu, decided what they want, placed an order, and waited patiently without standing over them for their order. I got a funny look when I went straight to the register in front of two other customers still deciding what they want and had to wait until they decided and payed before they acknowledged my existence. Then when they did I told them I had an online order and gave them my name. The employee went to the back and they checked out another customer. The other guy appeared again and asked my name again and said they didn't have that order but what is it and they will make it. When I told them never mind just give me a refund they ran to the back real quick made my order while I was waiting for a refund and played like they all of a sudden found it. I order online and pick up in store sometimes. Tonight, I ordered while I was putting my groceries in my car, and had to drive all the way from Irby street to coldstone. So I figured that would give them plenty of time. For some reason when I walk in, and tell them my Name for the order, I’m assuming it was the shift lead or manager on duty said, in front of me, while shrugging her shoulders, “it’s still got 20 minutes left.” While there are two other people in there. Mind you, I never said anything about having an issue waiting. But it does not take 30 minutes to put ice cream in 3 containers. I work at a restaurant that uses waitr too, and we only use the thirty minute button if it’s a really big order, or really busy. So don’t try to play me like I don’t know tf you doin. Now, her coworker with the gray sweater, and brown hair, I think, was super sweet. If I had cash I would have tipped her. But the girl with the very pretty eyelashes, and the pretty red hair had a nasty attitude. Don’t act like that when you have a picture on the wall saying, basically, “every customer is treated with kindness and respect.” She made that picture a WHOLE lie. I’m still gonna eat my...

We have become addicted to cold Stone creamery. It started innocently enough, we brought our kids there after dinner for a little sweet treat. We found a cone that we really like. We get a waffle cone in the medium size with cake, batter ice cream, blueberries and pie crust added in. My wife and I eat it with two spoons and then share the cone.

It’s gotten to the point where they see us and go ahead and just start making it.
