Food Lion — Local services in Florence

Store appears clean and well stocked but doesn’t seem to be open even during opening hours. Came in after daughter’s chorus concert and thought we could grab some deli meat and rolls for a quick late dinner. There were four people hanging out chatting in the deli department that ignored me for ten minutes and the one looked and me and said “we’re closed so I can’t help you”. If closed fine, but why did you wait ten minutes to say so?? Wondering if I would just wander away? And why is the deli closed if the store is open? It’s not like there weren’t enough employees to handle one request while the rest continued with closing duties…not that any of them were doing...

Usually this is a pretty good food Lion I've been going here since it opened. Sushi Wednesday is bomb and it's close to my house. Don't go for primo stuff though, like your water jugs. One of the employees stopped me today and said that I wasn't allowed to use the primo refill machine because they don't have licensing for it. I don't understand how you have the whole machine and are listed on their website as a place to go and no one's able to use it because of your licensing? They should probably contact primo and tell them that they're not going to be letting people use the services at this location so that primo takes them off...

We went the first weekend it was opened, everything looked nice. Although, the workers were VERY rude, when we went to go check out the cashier didn't greet us, okay that's fine. The workers they had bagging the items, they don't know what they are doing. We had two food items, and they put both items in the same bag as cleaning supplies. I don't know about you, but I don't want my food next to bleach. They also got angry when we asked for an extra bag to move the food items. I get it was very busy that day.
