T.J. Maxx — Local services in Florence

This store is the best TJMaxx store I’ve ever visited, and I’m thrilled it happens to be in my hometown of Florence, SC. Not only do they turn over merchandise quickly, but they have the best, most friendly and helpful employees anywhere! I go in the store at least three times a week, and I always enjoy talking with the employees. However, I recently experienced the help of a very fast thinking, kind and honest employee. She helped locate my missing purse. No need to go into the whole story, but I was so grateful for this employee whose name is Andrea. I really hope that she will be recognized highly by the company for going above and beyond to help me. The wonderful, friendly manager, Juan, assured me she would get well deserved recognition. In this day and age, it is extremely rare to encounter such truly caring human beings. Thank you to all the TJMaxx employees in the Florence, SC store. The merchandise is great but I found some of the employees to be rude. The fitting room employee was very sweet but the ladies that were stocking the make-up were loud and inconsiderate of the people shopping. They kept stepping in front of me to stock (without even saying excuse me) and were having very loud and very personal conversations. It made it hard to look at the products and hard to focus on reading ingredients/application instructions/etc. when they were being so loud. It also felt like they were trying to rush me through that section even though the whole reason I went to the store was to look at the makeup (and I was careful not to be in their way as much as possible.) I enjoy coming here. You never know what they will have but I guarantee it will be stocked with plenty to choose from. The prices are incredible too with their jewelry department being my favorite place to buy from due to excellent selection and prices! They also have very friendly and helpful associates who don't act as if you are being an inconvenience if you need to see something in a display case or have a question. They have hair products that I use on a regular basis that are several DOLLARS cheaper than Walmart and I buy a lot of my department store makeup here for quite a markdown as well.
