Let me start with this was two weeks ago and I am still annoyed and disgusted. We had family visit us and on one of the last nights here they were craving hot wings and as a group of 7 guys and myself not wanted to go far they decided to make the WORSE DECISION OF THEIR LIFE by going here. Upon walking in there was only a handful of maybe 7 or 8 people, NOT GROUPS, just individuals throughout the restaurant so we were seated quickly. We waited and waited and finally our waitress came over, we ordered drinks (a mix of fountain sodas and beer so it's not THAT complicated). We waited... and waited... 10 minutes go by (mind you we can SEE our waitress doing nothing of importance because we were one of maybe 2 tables she had) and our drinks FINALLY SHOW UP. Strike 1 We all place not only appetizers but our meals as we have been here for almost 25 minutes already and knew what we wanted coming into the place. The food took just as long to make. Being a waitress and have working in a kitchen, I know around how long it should take for a dead resturant to make food. But still took about 20 minutes. When it DID come out, it was already getting cold. For those who ordered a small amount of wings they were able to eat them quick enough before they noticed the actual temperature. But for those who ordered other things like the shrimp taco, buffalo shrimp, and the crab legs you would think they would be some type of temperature other than right out of the fridge cold. I mean cold to the point no one wanted to eat the seafood because it felt and tasted uncooked. I sent it back after being on the table for 2 minutes. That's all it took. Mind you we showed up at approx 8 oclock, and the food was send back 2 minutes after we got it.. at a little after 9... I ended up needing to talk to the manager to be compensated because the whole 2 hours in total we were there, the table only managed to get 1 round of drink before they lost patience and walked up to the bar for more. Most were able to deal with their wings being warm because at this point they're hungry but after waiting to send the food back and waiting another 30 minutes for it to come out, the other half of us didnt actually eat our meals in the 2 hours we were there. We had to ask for the food to go before it even got to the plate the 2nd time.
The staff is lazy and dont have any sense of urgency (which explains how cold it was by the time we got it), the manager must have been on something because when I talked to him to be compensated he needed to stand 5 inches from my face. Not in a creepy way but like he couldn't help himself because he wasn't all there. We probably should have turned around before even parking when we saw the cooks outside smokin and it didnt smell like cigarettes! Like do what you want on your own time but at least...

Dear hooters,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concerns regarding a recent visit to your establishment on September 19, 2025, between 3-4 PM. š
During my visit, I encountered an unfortunate situation with one of your bartenders. I found her demeanor to be quite rude, disrespectful, and overall unpleasant. It was disheartening to experience this, especially in a hospitality environment where customer satisfaction is paramount. When I politely asked for her name to provide feedback, she refused to share it, which only added to my disappointment.
I also noticed that this bartender seemed to prioritize socializing over serving customers, as I waited approximately 20 minutes to place an order while she engaged in conversation with another patron. After deciding to move to a different table ā a choice made out of frustration, as the waitstaff appeared hesitant to approach the bartender on my behalf ā I was met with an unprofessional response, including a nasty look when I expressed gratitude for the food she brought out.
This experience was not only frustrating for me but seemed to create an uncomfortable atmosphere for other patrons as well. It is concerning to observe that the staff appeared apprehensive around this bartender, impacting their ability to provide quality service.
I genuinely believe in the potential of Hooters and want to see it thrive. However, the treatment I received has led me to reconsider returning to the Hooters in Florence. I also feel compelled to share my experience on review platforms and with friends, family, and colleagues, as I believe constructive feedback is essential for improvement.
As a regular patron accustomed to tipping generously, I found myself unable to support this behavior with my usual 20-40% gratuity, as I feel that appreciation must be mutual. š
It is my hope that you take this feedback seriously and address the service quality, as it is crucial for retaining loyal customers in the competitive dining landscape. Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns. I look forward to your response and any possible improvements that may arise from this...

Slandered by prejudice waiters and treated unfairly by the ignorant Manager. The girls who work there and the manager exhibited subtly racist behavior.
I've never had a problem with the service until one day I showed up with my beautiful friend from Mexico who had an official Mexico ID showing she was over 21. They wouldn't accept the ID, were very rude about it, then falsely accused me and her of taking pictures of the girls working there (we were using our phones for Google Translate since she is not fluent in English nor I in Spanish).
When I proved I had not taken any pictures, the Manager said "Well can you just put your phone away" and I said "Sure - if you make everyone else put their phones away too" but he did not make anyone else put their phones away. They were so rude to us, even though I proved to them I had not done anything wrong, after being slandered we simply left. The girls there were giving my girlfriend the evil eye the whole time. She was dressed in a cute outfit and looked better than any of the girls who were working there so we figure they complained to the Manager and slandered us and the Manager was stupid enough to not take the customer's side but instead false accused us and created "special" rules for us than nobody else had to obey.
It was clearly a racist environment. I've been there many times before that day and have never been treated like that. Only because of the Mexican woman I had with me did we get treated differently. I will never eat there again and I hope they get confronted with their racist behavior by concerned citizens. This is unacceptable in 2018 Hooters.
*You can't be openly racist and treat foreigners differently than everyone else and slander those who are...
