My son’s wife decided to have his birthday get together at 89 Taproom restaurant. There were eight of us in our party my husband and I have not been out to eat since 2019 because of Covid. We have not done anything to put ourselves in jeopardy and the only reason why we came out was because it was our son‘s birthday. The manager was very nice and very generous coming over several times to thank us for coming to the restaurant. The food was good but in this time of COVID The WAITRESS DID NOT WEAR A MASK😡 Myself my daughter and my daughter-in-law had all been vaccinated so we felt a little bit safer but my husband and my son’s in-laws had not been along with my son. The waitress continued to stay in their in their faces and continue to talk with no mask on. She was the only server or employee that did not have a mask on. The only reason I am giving a low rating is because of the waitress with no mask. I did ask the manager why our waitress was not wearing a mask and he replied “she wasn’t wearing a mask?” & I said no and he said he would talk with her about the situation. I would’ve appreciated it if he had done it right then because then she came back to the table again breathing all over everybody with no mask. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I definitely will not be back to this restaurant or any other for that matter if she is an example of how waitresses behave in these serious times. Her decision to stay away from restaurants was...

I would say it's a pass for me... Appetizer was excellent We had cheese curds the burgers not so much The Ronald was cooked properly medium and was a lil light on the thousand island. Y'all cheddar Burger was cooked properly medium but a lil dry likely due to the dense bun. I didn't get alot of flavor from the burgers... the lil char mark gave it some definition of flavor. But the fries where terrible... Both of our orders of fries are old... "Now I worked at McDonald's and these where the equivalent of the hard fries left over from yesterday in the corners of the fry bin" ... So you could literally snap and crumble them they where so hard... So they replaced them... and they where not great but they where hot and not petrified. The shrimp tacos where good and came with good tortilla chips and Pico. The blue moon beer was flat... And I loved that they give you a huge glass of coke... however I drank most of it after spitting out the petrified fry..."so bitter" I dunno if they were understaffed... and had to flag down another server for my refill so I could finish eating while everyone else was done. It just wasn't a good experience mainly due to the food experience which is a kitchen issue... I imagine they make fries and bin them... So they likely did not empty the old fries before adding new ones....BUT those fries seemed way too old... like beginning of day or...
