Margarita's — Restaurant in Florence

Went there yesterday 9/21/18, no-one was there to welcome me & my party, then about 5minutes later a lady showed up, seated us , then left , we waited about another 15min to get chips & salsa & the guy who bought it just dropped it down & walked off. So now .... another 20minutes passed by our waiter/waitress still didnt come , so another waitress saw me eyeing her & she comes over & asked did someone get our drinks , we replied “No” so she says , “im not your waitress but ill go ahead & get that drink order in for you guys”. At that point we was just like F*%^ it dont worry about it , so we got up & left. Went to another restaurant called “Mi Tierra San Jose “ & their service was EXCELLENT as well as the food. That was GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL be returning...

Called in prior to my husband and my visit to confirm a simple request. After receiving confirmation we arrived and began our dine in. Shortly after when about to leave we were approached by our waiter who decided to inform us that they were going to back out of the request on the phone and that we would be charged according to the boss. We asked to speak with the owner and were informed he wasn't there leaving us to suspicion. The waiter then continued to bicker with us about it and then stated in a rude manner"it's fine I'll take care of it." Therefore overall if you don't want to be harassed after a dine-in experience I wouldn't recommend...

Not the best Mexican food in Florence, but very close. The food is a bit heartier than other Mexican places, which is often a good thing. Other places make tacos with a bit of beef, a little cheese and a lot of lettuce. La Bamba uses a fair amount of beef, a little lettuce and a LOT of cheese, which makes them much better. Fajitas come in the 'build it yourself' variety and look like a feast. Only complaint I have is that the rice is not Mexican rice, just regular rice with an orange color, mixed with peas and carrots of all things. Be aware that this place fills to capacity at certain times (I just missed the after-church rush one Sunday...
