Went thru the McDonald's Drive thru this morning at 1020 am. The order taker was awesome and polite, and he was in Window 1 to take my payment.
The person in Window 2 needs to restart his training program over, and he needs to learn a lot about customer service and respect.
I asked for a #7, with extra Hash Brown, Extra Drink, and 8 Hot Sauce packets.
I received both drinks individually and had to ask for a drink carrier. The representative gave me a blank stare and then gets it.
Gives me my bag of food, hasn't said hello or goodbye, and the window slams shut.
So I sat there, and I informed him that I needed the extra hash brown and the salsa, and he questions me about it and asked if I ordered it w my meal. I know I did, I paid for it, and it's on my receipt, so I asked him to review the order on his screen. Window slams shut, and then reopens w him holding the hash brown in its half package in his hand, wo gloves or in a bag by itself.
Then again, the window slams shut, and I sit there, to then have to ask again for the salsa. All the while, he is glaring me down for ruining his numbers on the time clock.
I'm sorry, but with the increases in pay and resulting increases in food costs, it shouldn't be this difficult to get an order, especially a simple breakfast order, correct and presented to the customer.
I order a lot from DoorDash, and I am always having issues w the order being accurate.
It's not that hard!
Where are the managers during this short process from Window 1 to Window 2?
And why does a driver always have to ask for a drink carrier when they order 2...
Read moreI hate this location. I avoid it. Unfortunately I accidentally put through a mobile order to this location and had to go. I knew it would be chaos and I wasn’t surprised to see the parking lot overflowing and line wrapped around the building. I reluctantly pulled into the line and once we finally got to the speaker and answered that we had a mobile order the guy asked what we wanted. I repeated we had a mobile order and I said as picking it up. He asked for my name, I told him. Then he tells me “your order is for the counter you have to come inside.” I have never ever had that happen before… I explained I didn’t know that I had done that and had 2 young kids in car seats and asked again could I just pick it up since I had already been stuck in line waiting? He told me no, but had to come in. I’m not normally rude, but I’m so sick of horrible service when the food prices are higher and the food is honestly crap and rarely made correctly. So I got firm and told him absolutely not would I park and come in that there was no reason they couldn’t just hand me the food. When I got around to the window he passive aggressively was hanging the drink and bag of food out the window. I grabbed it, double checked the order was right, then left. Another reason for me to hate this location. And another reason for me to tell my kids no to McDonald’s next...
Read moreI echo what other reviewers have said, this is a very slow McDonalds. The last few times I’ve been there, it has taken 20-30 minutes from the moment I pull into the parking lot to the moment I leave (this is both via the drive thru and also going inside to get food to go). This is way too slow for “fast food”. At first, I thought it was just because the Burger King across the street is temporarily closed for remodeling, but others have told me it’s always been this way. I suspect part of the reason is because the demand is high in the area. The owners, need to capitalize on this and increase drive thru capacity (like having double drive-thrus) and hiring more staff. I think they’ve been trying to hire more staff but it looks like they’ve been unsuccessful (probably need to increase the wages). If they don’t do something soon, they are going to start losing customers because of the bad service. Lastly, I just went through the drive-thru in the rain and got soaked because they don’t have a roof over the area you place your order (like a lot of Chick-fil-As have). They need to put...
