The General Dough — Restaurant in Florence

We recently visited The General Dough and had an absolutely delightful experience! The owner was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home even though we are from Texas and just passing through. Watching the food being made fresh in front of us added a special touch to the entire visit. The portion sizes were generous, especially considering the great price. Most importantly, everything tasted amazing! The beignets were light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. Talk about consistency! These guys are doing it right and are the reason why we love and prefer to patronize independent, small businesses like this! Friendly staff and management who are proud of the service they provide and food that is nothing short of amazing!
