Well my family and I drive 45 mins just to eat there and one would think that with Golden corral and please don't forget the best steak house is the Texas roadhouse across the street. Well anyway we went there tonight Sunday night and my son-in-law and myself ordered that 14 ounce ribeye when the first two ribeyes came to the table they were absolutely burnt they were ordered medium well my daughter had also paid extra for macaroni and cheese which was not given to her waitress would not come to the table we had to keep calling her for tea and refills on other drinks that we had the second two ribeyes came my son-in-law's looked and tasted like it was freezer burned and microwaved my steak however never even hit a grill it came straight from the microwave and so much salt on the steak I could not eat it I tell the manager which obviously no education and he gives me back $26 I understand we pay for the drinks but nothing on that plate was eaten he still owes us five dollars plus tax actually it should be more because the steak itself was $14.99 tax each so we're just rounding it out and given the estimate of five dollars on that plus tax and $1.39 plus tax now this comes to a total of a little over seven or eight dollars nobody's really counting up and nobody cares about eight dollars that doesn't mean nothing to me . But he didn't even bother to come to the table and explained what was done because apparently he does not know how to add and subtract so he sent the waitress over which of the money in my face and says here this is what he's giving you back and walked away , So my son-in-law ate a little bit of his big potato his burnt bread which my husband said was burnt as well and so was mine actually mine was only burnt on the outside on the top up under it it was just white bread and luckily I had got a salad so my daughter shared her 8 ounce small steak which is no bigger in the palm of your hand, and she had ordered extra chicken strips which was actually chicken chunks and he ate a little bit of them my husband wanted to order the shrimp with the steak they told him they were out of shrimp my son-in-law asked for a better they told him they were out of better I am going to post everything I possibly can to every site so at least you will lose some visitors there and we will be going to Texas roadhouse from now on and if we want to buffet will go to the Golden corral and if my husband wants seafood will go to the red lobster but we will not be driving 45 minutes to your restaurant ever again it is poor management and then The waitress started vacuuming right at our table while we were trying to eat our salad for God knows what's going to fly out of that vacuum cleaner that's what you get when you employ people with no education because you can look at that manager entail he was not also he was more friendlier to his African-American people then he was the white people and the only problem I have with our waitress was we had to ask her four times for teeth and we are standing right or actually sitting right behind the station where is the tea in the drinks were but for that manager that was dressed like he had just rolled out of the garbage can didn't apologize didn't do anything he got everything wrong just like the waitress did but didn't even have the decency to come back and say I am sorry this is what I'm gonna do for you I hope people read this and they don't go to your restaurant and I will be calling back tomorrow which is Monday and tried to talk with the manager that shows a little bit of education and if I could give you a half the store I would and in fact I think I'm going to call the Board of Health and see about getting that place inspected so that way when your manager comes to a table and he can't even get the tickets right and we Varty told him four times maybe next time he'll think of what is this a person that can really Hurt the restaurant he should treat everyone like that black or white green or yellow because he never knows who...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur server was amazing we ask for her everytime ...Savannah does a great job and you can tell she is good at what she does and enjoys her job she always goes above and beyond and has went as far as to feed my ailing mother who can no longer do for herself so i could feed my twins and she has no idea the act of kindness literally made me cry. I wanted to record her on Tik tok so i could show the person she is but she declined and i respected that so i had to find a way to let you know. The food was amazing other than the bread running out often or being burnt or under cooked and also on this day we were told at the door that yall had no rolls or crossiants and my elderly mother was so disappointed but what yall did have in the bread buffet wasnt up to par .. we came in on this past Sunday evening so i tried being understanding of that although we traveled from Manning to get here. But watching a employee make drinks while smoking her vape was not appreciated seeing how my mother is on oxygen and we did not expect to be in a indoor establishment having to worry about things like that, more importantly from a employee/ server who seemed to have some kind of fan around her neck that just blew the smoke/vape everywhere! Not only that but the ice cream machine was being taken apart and my kids couldn't access their favorite dessert but savannah made sure my babies had dessert and brought them both Klondike bars she had dolled up for them which saved the day from two screaming toddlers that she made more than happy .. but the biggest complaint we had was how incredibly hot your restaurant is lit is iterally on the verge of being very uncomfortable when you are trying to eat and I know your servers must feel the same if not worse.. we will return simply because Savannah made everything seem trivial with how well she kept us occupied and the level.of service she provided she definitely deserved the recognition š and I tell all my family and friends to make sure they get her because they won't be disappointed.. please make sure your good employees recieve your praises because we returned before you closed that night and gave her a gift card to use as she pleased on top of her tip please keep your good employees like her and we will be back just for that kind of service alone!

Our first and last steak at the Florence location we LOVE western sizzlins and dine at them often! It started by when we ordered in the line the lady at the register acted if we were a burden to her existence, she repeatedly pointed to a small sign on the counter saying āsides what sides are you eatingā to my wife and I both. After we completed our order we didnāt know the silver ware was on the counter (first timers at this location) as we walked away she angrily says āyou know people have to have silver ware to eat anythingā. This shouldāve been the moment we left however I gave it the benefit of the doubt. We both had the thick cut 9ā sirloin, medium rare with steamed cabbage and salad bar. When our steaks arrived at our table my wifeās steak was the thick cut 9oz sirloin she had ordered, however mine was some paper thin garbage that couldnāt have amounted to more than 5oz. I immediately told the waiter which was less than enthusiastic to help. After my wife had totally finished her meal 28 minutes later to be exact, I finally get my meal back, I immediately cut into the steak, it is raw. Not rare it is completely raw, it was so raw that it was ice cold in the middle. I understand ordering a think cut of meat and wanting it medium rare is one thing, but this steak didnāt have any kind of cook ring on the inner of the cut. Simply just like it was slid across a hot grill and then on the plate. I then report to the waitress again who this time was actually annoyed by my displeasure. I ask her to box it to go after the cook corrects it, she huffs and stomps away. After bringing me the box I leave because Iām so aggravated and displeased. I check the steak in the parking lot and it is completely well done. I cannot believe the disrespect ive felt over this evening. I would like a manager to reach out, as I have already emailed a corporate office. Itās rare that I feel as though Iāve waisted my money, but trust me I would set $50 dollars on fire before I give a dime to this restaurant in Florence ever again.
