57 Tavern — Restaurant in Florida

Eaten here several times and it's your typical throwback greasy spoon, everything is frozen and fried. Last time I went here it was 2 in the afternoon for lunch. The diner was almost empty. I was made immediately aware that I made the mistake of parking in the curbside pickup by the wait staff, and was told to move my car to another spot. There were 2 curbside pickup spots still available. I asked about the car parked in the curbside pickup spot in front of me and was told that was the managers car. Didn't have the time to explain I was in a rush to a person that doesn't understand an empty resturant that's in between lunch and dinner hours shouldn't need to move their vehicle and decided to eat somewhere else. You lost your tip and the resturant lost revenue, good job protecting and keeping those parking spots empty minus the one for the manager of course. If I go back I won't make that same mistake, but giving the situation I think a polite request not to park there in the future would have been the way to handle...

I need to first say that this place has been there for many years now but this was the first time we'd been there since we'd been living in a different area. They've definitely stepped up their game! They've always had great service and great drinks but it seems even more exceptional now and affordable as well. The atmosphere was always lively and still is more than ever with pool tables, darts, games and gambling games... not to mention they have quite a few TVs that always have all the most important (or requested by a Customer) Sports games with a different one on each TV. This most recent time, one of the staff even came over to our high top table almost right after we got there and took our order... for just drinks! Its a bar! We were extremely surprised and even more happy about how great the service was. These Bartenders go above and beyond. We just had a few beers but the experience was wonderful and my Fiancé and I agreed that its our "new" go to...

Johnny Baker and Clint behind the same bar?! Are you kidding me? Bartending royalty right there, friends. Two first-ballot hall of famers, to be sure. If those two were tending bar on the moon they'd have a packed house! A neighborhood tavern for everybody. An intuitive design that has easy, plentiful parking with handicapped access and common sense covid-19 protocols throughout.
