So here's the scoop. I came to this Pizza Hut a few weeks ago and it was OUTSTANDING!Staff was amazing! PIZZA TOP NOTCH!! A PROMPT AND COURTEOUS gentleman, rushed out curbside to deliver and the pizza was amazing like I said!!!. It was hot, fresh, perfect. I think the gentleman said he was from Ecuador or Cuba forgot, but super friendly and even commented on my cute Tinkerbell Covid mask. So last time the service was IMPECCABLE as well as the food :) So last time I gave it THE 5 star rating IT DESERVED!! THIS time, COMPLETELY DIFFERENT RESTAURANT, I debated whether I should even give it 3 stars?! This is not to complain, this is to ENCOURAGE :) Placed the order online, it wouldn't accept my credit card information, so I marked 'pay cash.' Then when I got to the Pizza Hut establishment on 17th St in Sarasota FL, I text the number posted on the door and no response. The last time they SAW my Nissan pull up and RAN it out to me, which was wonderful!! This time two gentleman were so busy peeling off front window stickers that they didn't even notice that there were customers in the parking lot?! I thought the whole reason a business establishment STAYED in business, was to ACTUALLY HELP customers?! When the tall 6' 2 blond guy brought out my pizza to my car, he was like 'here you go have a good night' very short, maybe he was busy, I don't think so, it was only 4pm when I ordered it..and only a 15 minute wait. He then said their computer system was down so he didn't see curbside pick up on their computer, okay, and that's my problem how?! First of all...FIX YOUR SYSTEM..... Everything about it..... Have a smile on your face :) Even WITH the mask you can tell when someone smiling :) Say "Hey, how's it going, how's your night?" Just like the other gentleman did!! Say a nice compliment, like "wow, I really like your mask, it's cool, I love Disney!" The other guy should be THE MANAGER AND GET A BIG FAT RAISE. I'm just saying. In fact, I believe he should train other people there, about 'WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALL ABOUT!!!' OK then, lastly, the pizza was great, the outside was crispy, and it was cooked really well, but the sauce was in splotches?! Ripped off the topping,, only to find some sections had LOTS of sauce, some pieces had ALMOST NO sauce and it wasn't even cut?!... so I had to rip the pizza apart... I would just say, "step it up a little bit guys! because you have a job, and some people would kill to have a job right now, so I think appreciating the job that you have, is the best advice I have for you! Take pride in your work! Oh, and actually have FUN at your work like the other fabulous employee that greeted me with a smile,, a hello, a compliment, and a piping hot pizza :)) That's it!...
Read moreI ordered a pizza with this store online and received something completely different. When I called that night, I was given the option of either getting a credit or have the pizza switched out. Since it was a few minutes from closing, I was fine with the credit. I was immediately speaking to someone new who had called me a liar and said that my order was correct. At that point I just wanted my money back and she had told me to call back the next day. I asked for her name and all she would say was the previous persons name and that she was "management". When I called back the next day, the manager working then refused to give me any kind of refund because his system was down. When I asked why he was ready to take an order if his system was down and he pretended he couldn't hear me. I told him I was recording the phone call, which he responded by promptly hanging up. This place is a disaster. Unfortunately I had to lose $40 on a wrong order, but hopefully no one...
Read moreThese guys really need to shut down take out orders if they cant fulfill them. Its 347 pm on a monday... my take out order was placed at 315 pm.. they haven't even started my order yet. How can you even do takeout orders? Its 2025 here... it doesn't take 52 minutes to make a couple pizzas during the slow time of the day. No one is here picking up any orders .. its absolutely dead. We dont get paid as grubhub or doordash drivers to wait in restaurants . We are trying to earn a living and in the process that helps you expand your business.. Its not fair I have to wait 20 minutes because pizza hut doesn't have there act together . I wouldnt come here or order here for takeout. They won't take care of you . I even left my house 5 minutes late to prevent long waiting . I won't accept orders from here again. Its not worth it. No driver should be waiting 20 minutes for free. Thats not...
