BAB's Secret Lounge — Restaurant in Florida

This being my first visit, I was very excited to experience another Speakeasy or “secret lounge”. It has a different vibe for Florida, and that is great. We came at 5:00 pm on a Wednesday and I was surprised that there were a few people already there since it opens at 5. It’s very small, dark and cozy. And you’ll smell smoke (I’m guessing from the smoked drinks), which did not bother me at all, and added to the dark atmosphere. There’s a small bar on your right, a large table in the middle that could seat 10 or so people, a couple of chairs with a cocktail table and a corner booth that can seat 6 or so. The walls are all black, the lighting dim and there’s a fireplace behind the bar.

You have to go to the bar to get your drinks. I found the bartenders to be very unobservant of the bar, or anyone standing there waiting for a drink. Which was strange because there were less than 10 people in the bar. The drink menu was quite limited and I wasn’t inspired to try anything different on it, so I just had my usual drink. It was fine.

Overall I found the drinks to be pricey and the bartenders somewhat pretentious as if they’re too cool to wait on you. However, I would like to give it another chance. Terrible Experience at BAB's Secret Lounge

I recently visited BAB's Secret Lounge and had an extremely disappointing experience. From the moment my group entered, we were met with abysmal customer service from the bartender, who was wearing a Boston Celtics jersey. Despite being just a total of six patrons at the time, he completely ignored our presence and failed to acknowledge us. However, when another couple walked in, he promptly attended to them, making it evident that he only catered to a specific group of customers.

Throughout our entire visit, the bartender never bothered to check up on us or offer any kind of service. It seemed like he had plenty of time for conversation with other guests, but completely neglected our table. This blatant favoritism and disregard for our experience left a sour taste in our mouths.

Based on this incredibly disappointing encounter, I have decided that I will never visit BAB's Secret Lounge again. It's disheartening to see such a lack of professionalism and basic courtesy towards customers. I highly recommend avoiding this establishment if you value good service and being...

I have been wanting to visit Babs for a while, so I was able to visit on Saturday for my Birthday and the woman bar tender was just rude, almost like why were we there and it made me feel like I did not belong there. For the price the drinks were not that good nor they have much alcohol, after 2 old fashions I did not feel a thing which is not normal.
