To preface, I am allergic to red meat and ordered using Uber eats. Additionally, the order came with unexpected nuts.
Ordered 2 chicken bahn mi sandwiches, received 2 pork sandwiches.
Ordered chicken salad that says it comes with strawberries and blueberries, avocado, and boiled egg. Received none of the above, the salad came with pork, nuts, and raisins.
Edit to business’s reply:
Yes, I received a refund for these items, which I am appreciative of. However, I am posting this review for the owner’s to be aware of this issue and for others, because past reviews reflect similar instances occurring.
However, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich for a fact, not shredded. No where did it say shredded, as you may see in the photos. I have attached the photo of what I ordered in Uber eats to this review. Please compare these photos to the pork sandwich to see where I come from.
I DID received a refund for reporting the items as incorrect, as these are not grilled chicken and in fact look/taste like pork. These items appeared entirely different than the images advertised. It’s okay if the items are seasonal and ingredients vary, but please list that! I did not expect to have to tell the restaurant my allergies because none of the items listed the foods I’m allergic to as an ingredient.
To clarify, unlike what the business’s reply implied, I did NOT receive a refund for missing items.
Maybe it is psychosomatic, but I had my typical allergy responses after trying it. I still believe it to be pork, but I will give the benefit of the doubt. I appreciate the business for clarifying that it was “shredded chicken.”
If this is an issue with the descriptions in ordering apps, I implore you to fix these descriptions and use images that reflect the items you are selling. This is not out of your control and I urge you to do better.
I truly wish you the best, although my review may...
Read moreI leave reviews at almost every place that I go. I really really really do not like to leave negative reviews. I especially don’t like to leave negative reviews to a mom and Pop Vietnamese restaurant. However, I live in an Asian family for the past 27 years. We eat the same food all the time, and I know what it should taste like. The fish sauce was neither spicy nor did it have any flavor whatsoever it looks like colored water and nothing more. The girls at the counter seemed annoyed, and they didn’t speak very much English. I don’t care as much about the English but a customer had to translate for me, and all I wanted was SALT. Anyway, the biggest problem is that there’s no space inside, the food tasted like nothing, the service was pitiful, and it was just an overall negative experience. as a person that loves Vietnamese food, I do not recommend this restaurant. It is local and close by but that does not make it a quality restaurant.
Hopefully, they will read this and make the changes necessary so that it can be a very popular place that serves delicious Vietnamese cuisine.
PS at the time I visited, they had no regular plates, nor forks, or knives that you can wash. It was all put in a bag and in Styrofoam and we wanted to eat there, but there was no place inside to eat, so we had to eat outside, which is fine but everything was in a takeout, even though we said we were eating there and they said they didn’t have dishes. Just a heads up.
Also very expensive for the quantity.

Read moreOur first impression was very welcoming. This is a very aesthetically pleasing business. And then after we ordered our food the wheels fell off the wagon. We felt the value did not meet our expectations. We ordered 2 banh mi sandwiches (6 inch), 2 orders of fried egg rolls and 2 Thai Red Tea. The total was around $52.00. This suggests that they charge more and almost double on some of their items as compared to other Vietnamese restaurants that we have been too in Tampa, Clearwater and New Port Richey. Even though there were no other customers in the store at the time, we felt slightly rushed as we decided on what to order. We were never asked if we were dining in or if it was to go. Our plan was to dine in and our food was bagged to go. We unbagged our food to begin eating and the food looked amazing. However, the egg rolls were a bit greasy but tatsed fine. The banh mi sandwiches were tasty but the bread was not what we expected. Other banh mi sandwiches that we have had was made with a bread that was similar but it was also light and crispy. This bread was soft and the texture was wrong. The Thai Red Tea was delicious and interestingly had a boba option. In our opinion it was very over priced. Overall the experience was good but lacked value. It seems as if the cost was due more to the location and...
