The Food is Excellent!! The portions are good size, My eggs are ALWAYS spot on, y'all have the BEST BACON EVER! The bee hives & Chickens out back are an nice touch. It's Super Clean & Organized. The bathrooms, Windows & Entry Doors, Floors & Server Station are are Clean as an Whistle. My utensils never need polished off because they are Clean & Polished when rolled. All these are Super Important to me. If the Dining room is Clean, chances are good so is the Kitchen. A+ on all that. The Service? Not so much. I've been in the Service Industry for 34+ years as a Server & Server Management in many different kinds of Establishments, from Dive bars to fine dining & everything in between. It's NEVER a good idea to INTERRUPT guests' conversations for Coffee Refills, More Water or to take their order. PERIOD! Also Not Cool to; Reach across a guest to serve another, Lean across the table to serve the guest on the other side. Eye rolls & Facial Expressions don't always go un noticed & They DO MATTER. Our food came out in Shifts, as our (Server only has 2 hands) ask for a Follower(s) to ensure the entire table is Served TOGETHER so they can Eat TOGETHER. ( it's aggrevating to me when 1/2 the table is already eating when the other 1/2 waits 4 their food). Another pet peeve of mine would be having the Bus Tubs & Cart ( it doesn't matter if they're clean or dirty) next to my table while I'm eating. Overall, Your Restaurant is a good bet for an Good Dining...

We live about a minute away but today was the first time we tried it. We had the Pork Melt with Fries and Brisket Sandwich with BBQ Beans. The food seemed to take forever to come out with there only being 2 of us and the restaurant more than half empty , was at least 20 minutes after ordering for sandwiches to come out. It was all hot and fresh , We split the sandwiches so we ate half and half. The Brisket Sandwich was good and had a good seasoning the Bun is so so rather use a hamburger bun at home. The Pork Melt was alright - the pork had some clumps of fat and no flavor but was moist and tender , could not find the mushrooms barely on the sandwich but the grilled onion were grilled perfectly , soft but a slight crunch, The garlic toast it comes on was a good bread choice. The BBQ beans were average - fries I thought were burnt and soggy in grease but they tasted okay other then no seasoning so I put salt and drizzled barbecue sauce on them and they were alright. Unsweet Tea - Average . 2 sandwiches 2 Teas - 25 something before tip which is on the pricey side. No one was overly friendly and not all that attentive. We won't be going back even with it being 1 minute...

What a g to find on the backroads between Mount Dora and Tavares. This cozy country restaurant has it all. Great food, atmosphere and great service.

First time visiting as they are only open Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00am to 2:00 pm. I thought to myself how can they stay in business? Well I soon found out. First thing you notice when you pull in is the food truck parked and the murals painted on the side of the restaurant. Though I haven’t experienced it I can only assume they started with the bbq trailer first before opening a brick and mortar establishment.

When I walked inside I found a very cozy small town feel from front to back of restaurant. They sold their own sauces, and locally sourced honey.

When we were being seated the hostess ask if we would like to sit at the “Bee” table”? I soon found out why it was called that as we sat in front of a window with be hives that were full and producing. It was a very nice view for eating. Food was excellent and I would definitely...
