Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

I have been a frequent customer of Blaze Pizza for about two years at this point. I enjoy the unlimited fresh ingredients on the BYO pizza which comes at a great prize not comparable to any other pizza place in the area. I frequently drove the 30+ minute trip to go to the Davie location, so when I heard about this location opening earlier this year, I was so happy and was constantly driving by to check up on the progress.

I was finally able to check it out yesterday, Nov 20th. I placed my order for pick-up in 15 minutes. I understand it takes longer to make a pizza, since at the other location I usually give them 30 minutes before I show up to pick it up. However, this location was a horrific disaster.

I waited until after the pick-up window was over to show up. I wouldn’t have minded waiting another 10-15 minutes, however I waited for my pizza for an entire HOUR after the promised time before I actually saw them putting it in the oven. This is ridiculous. The manager on duty (caucasian lady) did not even care about the fact that I was standing there for so long, and there had only been a total of 4 other people in line. For the trouble, the manager offered me 4 sauces for free. Totally makes up for the terrible service that I experienced in this location.

The best part, my pizza was missing 5 ingredients. Nobody notified me about the missing ingredients, only about the pesto drizzle which they had run out of. Most of my proteins, and another veggie was missing. I only noticed the missing ingredients once I got home, and when I tried to call the restaurant, they hung up the phone on me. After this horrific mess, I will no longer visit this location. The lack of hospitality was appalling for a newly opened restaurant. I will no longer be visiting g this location, and instead will take my business to the Davie store.

Management needs to look into training their shift leads and employees because if they continue with this clown show that they have going on, I don’t see how this location will survive. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby, and Pizza Station which is right across the street has good pizza with much better hospitality.

Worst experience yet. This was the fourth time visiting this location and every time has been a challenge. Today, there were two people on staff and one person who was taking her sweet time and talking with another employee. There was no customer service, no sense of urgency. I was one of like 2 people in the store so it wasn't busy.

When they finally got around to helping me, I was told there was no vegan cheese, no chopped garlic, no banana peppers. This coming from a company that promotes their vegan options as an advantage and the only reason we go to Blaze. The manager told me that the truck didn't deliver the cheese today.

I also ordered a greek salad, where she proceeded to ask me three times which salad I ordered and then asked me about each ingredient in the salad instead of referring to what actually goes in a greek salad.

After not having my toppings, making me wait for 25 minutes, they burned two of the pizzas and cut the crust off of one. I told them I didn't want the really burnt one and that I wanted a refund.

The manager "Kevin" said I needed to wait 2-3 days and I had to leave my phone number and name and "corporate" would take care of it. I am highly doubtful that he will follow through on this but I certainly will.

We were so excited when we learned that a Blaze was opening in our neighborhood and this is now no longer an option for us. We can't continue to support a business that doesn't value...

I love eating at blaze pizza is one of my bf and i favorite places we always use to go to the location in davie and when we saw this location opened we got so exited because it was really close to our house, our excitement vanished when we got there, first of all the service was like not attentive at all, the guy making the pizza put the ingredients wrong and then had to go back and fix it and lest not talk about the pizza both of our pizzas were burned wasn’t even able to finish it just eat a slice because i was hungry, and i asked for a s'mores which is my favorite desert there and they had the s'mores there on the oven from before i got there and the guy just got it from there and gave it to me, the marshmallow was badly melted and the cracker was burned, there just supposed to put it there a little bit for it to be warmed up. I get this is a new place but they should do better, or the managers or owners should've hired more qualified people.
