In all seriousness, I was surprised how tasty the food was. Had a savory Sunshine waffle; comes with waffle, egg, cheese and bacon. The staff were accommodating and explained options when I asked to have scrambled instead of sunny side up. It was served with the egg on the side and the waffle was covered in melted cheese and chopped bacon. The egg was seasoned well and the waffle was good, with a hint of sweetness (not sure if it was the waffle or the bacon?).

Also ordered a mocha frap; decent but had an unusual aftertaste that might have been from the type of coffee or mocha they used?

The waffle meal + frap + tip came to ~$17, but the waffle meal was definitely worth it.

The place looked clean and was spacious enough for social distancing (during the pandemic, there are no chairs/tables set up). The counter clerk wore a face mask and disposable gloves while I was there and the cook wore a face shield only (no mask on his mouth or nose). Would have preferred he wear a face mask too, but happy overall with their hygiene efforts.

Found this place randomly. It's in a little plaza off 56. I was next door and saw it when I left. The menu is on a pretty big blackboard. It's very extensive. I ordered the boss. It was a liege waffle with powdered sugar and a medicine cup full of syrup. I also ordered an iced coffee. The waffle was really good. I had never had a fancy waffle like that before so it was definitely a new experience for me. Not sure what kind of dough they use but I liked it. I ordered an iced coffee to go with it too. I like my coffee super sweet though so I added sugar to it on top of what was already in it. The atmosphere is nice. But I am the only person who's in here currently. So I am unsure of their busy times. They say open from 8 to 6 Monday to Saturday and 9 to 5 Sunday. So seven days. They also have dessert you can add to the waffles and milk shakes and fruit ke bobs which I have never heard of. There's even savory dishes. Though I would never try personally since i like my waffles and pancakes sweet. But it sounds interesting. I like these little mom...

Exceptional! For months now, I've been seeing glowing reviews and posts on social media about Batter & Dough, but never seemed to make it there. Today was our day. I had the Cheesie Oinkie waffle, husband had something I can't remember from the "secret menu." Off the chain fabulous! I made a terrible mistake of also ordering the Espresso Chocolate Shake. I think it is the best shake I have ever had. Seriously. In my life!!!! So smooth, delicious, and memorable. The store was lovely, and the owners could not have been nicer or cuter. Everyone needs to stop what they are doing, and go there! I love that everything is prepared as a custom order, and although it was not busy when we were there, I would happily wait for it. Totally worth it. I wish great success for this business, and that they will be there for a long time, because I am going to need more of those shakes...
