Campbell’s Dairy Land Ice Creamery in Brandon, Florida, offers an exceptional experience for anyone seeking a delightful and nostalgic ice cream outing. From the moment you step inside, the charming décor and inviting atmosphere transport you back to a classic American ice cream parlor, creating a warm and welcoming environment for families, couples, and individuals alike.
The variety of ice cream flavors available is truly impressive. Whether you're a fan of traditional favorites like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, or more adventurous flavors like key lime pie, peanut butter ripple, or maple bacon, Campbell’s Dairy Land has something to satisfy every palate. The ice cream itself is rich, creamy, and made with high-quality ingredients, which is evident in every bite. The texture is perfectly smooth, and the flavors are robust and authentic, making it clear that this is a place that takes pride in its product.
In addition to the ice cream, Campbell’s Dairy Land offers a range of other delectable treats. The sundaes are a highlight, with generous portions of toppings like hot fudge, caramel, fresh fruit, and whipped cream. The milkshakes are thick and flavorful, and the banana splits are a visual and culinary delight. For those who enjoy a bit of crunch with their ice cream, the selection of cones, including waffle and sugar cones, adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience.
The ambiance of Campbell’s Dairy Land is enhanced by its retro design elements, including classic ice cream parlor stools, checkered floors, and vintage signage. These details contribute to the overall charm and make each visit feel special. The outdoor seating area is also a pleasant option, especially on warm Florida evenings, allowing patrons to enjoy their treats in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
However, one aspect of the visit that fell short of the overall excellent experience was the interaction with the cashier. While not overtly rude, the cashier's demeanor was less friendly than one might expect in such a cheerful and customer-oriented environment. A smile and a bit more warmth in the service would have perfectly complemented the otherwise outstanding experience. Despite this minor drawback, the quality of the ice cream and the overall atmosphere more than make up for it, ensuring that the visit is still highly enjoyable.
Campbell’s Dairy Land Ice Creamery in Brandon, Florida, is a must-visit for ice cream enthusiasts and anyone looking to indulge in delicious, high-quality treats. The wide variety of flavors, the nostalgic ambiance, and the attention to detail in both the product and the setting make it a standout destination. While the friendliness of the cashier could be improved, it does not detract significantly from the overall experience, which remains thoroughly delightful. Campbell’s Dairy Land is a place where memories are made, and it comes highly recommended for anyone in the...
Read moreLove coming to Campbell’s. Been coming here since the mid-90s. That’s when I found out about it. I was heartbroken when it burnt down, glad to see that they pull together and rebuilt. A staple of Brandon ,everything‘s homemade, everything is fresh, the flavors, the choices ,the portions. You can’t go wrong here. I never had a bad entrée or ice cream or milkshake, Or anything from here. Their banana boats are to die for. Their wings are huge …….yes to cost a little more than the normal place. But the quality and the size . I’ll pay the up charge for a local, honest mom and pop ice cream shop. Make sure you get the app to do the punch cards. Free ice cream cones and free burgers.🍦🍧🍨🍔🍔🍔
I want to get an update. I’ve been coming up to Campbell’s recently and I’ve done this one associate that works there and I want to give a shout out to her name is Gracie. I don’t know how old she is. She looks like she’s very young probably about 16. She handled that front counter like a boss. She’s crouching the other coworkers at the same time she’s taking window orders And she took time to serve me at the front counter.
I was a former associate Who worked as a cook/ meatcutter in a well-known chain restaurant?
As a veteran of A Favorite Florida supermarket chain service number one. I recognize a natural Born Lead when I see . one. I don’t know what you’re paying her hourly let’s just say that the competition like the supermarket I worked for would swoop her up in a heartbeat front counter customer service to be Management by 18. Give this girl a raise she covered all bases and when I saw the coaching being done that’s above the norm shout out to Gracie. Keep up the good work your work ethics or whatever every company looks for. I don’t know what she’s getting Get paid
BUT...
Read moreI tried to order a cheeseburger with cheese fries. Apparently you’re not allowed to do that. I tried to order a chili dog with curly fries. Also not allowed to do that. I had to order each item individually which makes it more expensive. So for a chili dog, Curley fries, bacon cheese burger, cheese fries, a small chili cheese fry and two drinks it was $40. You would think there would be a simple upcharge to adjust the type of fry you want.
Now let’s get into the customer service. This is the true reason I’m here. Once I got to the window I voiced my frustrations about this and the lady (Mia) proceeded to say “I don’t make the prices” which I totally get. I asked for a receipt (so I could tell my friend how much she owed me for her portion). She shuts the door and you can not only HEAR all three kids talking about the situation but they are all laughing at it while the customer is still at the window. She then asked me to move to box 1 to wait for the food and so as to not interact with her anymore I simply started to move my car forward she then YELLED out the window “OKAY THEN!!!!” I’m not obligated to interact with you after I’ve seen the disrespect I’ve witnessed as I am the customer.
Ready for the cherry on top?? Apparently she’s a MANAGER!!! Mia should not be in a management position if this is the way she is going to treat customers.
So if you want over priced items and very bad service by all means enjoy. I could have gotten a better experience and probably better food for half the price...
