If OZZY BATISTA still owns an operates the store, it's a great place to go and eat and even sit down once in awhile - if there's a chair or two available. He is a very nice man, I've known him for over 10 years. He may not remember me because I'm one of those guys "if you see me you know who I am" though you may not know me by name. I'm sure he trains his own staff because they're all very consistent. The store is clean, the self-serve freezer is well stocked, the counters, the service area plastic food shields, the machines - everything is clean. I've never seen anything dripping on the floor or garbage on the floor, even in the customer area. I used to live in Century Village almost right around the corner and went there all the time. Now I live about 3 mi. away down Haverhill Road and I'm trying to contact the store. The number is not taking calls, but I needed to FAX Ozzie something and I don't see a FAX number. I wanted to ask him about donating a small 3 to 5 person ice cream cake to celebrate the nurses at the free clinic where I am forced to go because I cannot afford to pay for health care. It Is Wednesday night December 18th at 8:51 p.m. I'll try again tomorrow Thursday December 18th in the morning, before the lunch crowd. I hope I can get in touch with Ozzy - Even if he's not able to donate and deliver a small cake three miles south down Haverhill Road, I wanted to say hello and remember myself to him. Read moreI just had to enter a fresh update today on 3/14/23. I had an amazing experience with Ozzy the manager of this location. So I was at the store at a slow time. Ozzy, being manager, could have let me wait in a short line. He could sense I was eager for service. My wife is a bit under the weather and asked me to stop and get her some sherbet. I've heard this sherbet name, but I had no clue what it was. I let Ozzy know about my wife's condition. OZZY waved me down to an entire area with several different flavors of sherbet. I saw the colors and took three medium cups each with a different flavor. Here's why I know Carvel picked the right man for the manager. Ozzy tried saving me money and offered me the small cups. I told Ozzy, make all of them medium-sized, my wife deserves it. Ozzy packed all three to the top. The price for Carvel quality is worth it! OZZY, Thank you for making not only my day with highly commendable service but for pleasing my wife with the number one tasting sherbet from Carvel! One last important thing. Read moreThe customer service leads a great deal to be desired. I ordered a sundae that I had seen on their website that contained two different kinds of soft serve. When I observed the staff member only use one type of soft serve I brought to her attention in a very polite way that it was supposed to have two kinds of soft serve. She informed me that she had a recipient and that she only used one type of ice cream. I pointed to the poster on the wall advertising the sundae I had ordered and said it supposed to have two different kinds of soft serve. It was plain in the picture. She continued to argue saying she didn’t make it that way. I told her I wanted it like it showed on the website and in the huge poster on their wall. She through what she had made in the garbage and walked into the back. Never spoke a word to me. After about 10 minutes another server came from the back and asked what I wanted and I explained and she made the correct sundae.
