This location is the only one that shows up when I look it up under Google. It's intended for the Clermont location:
The husband and I decided to try Castello's for the first time because we were looking to save $ on dinner and a hot sub sounded good. When we got there, the atmosphere was confusing. We were the only ones there at 5pm on a Friday night which should have been our first red flag. It's supposed to be a "gourmet kitchen" but the decor (6 or 7 tvs lined up along the wall, random decor including zebras and coffee cups and something that looked oriental) felt very mismatched. Couldn't tell if it was supposed to be a "nice" place to eat or not-- the menus were too fancy and there were two of them that looked different. The paper inserts inside the fancy menus were curled and dirty. Then the placemats and Coke brand cups seemed out of place.
We decided to order the Chicken Parmesan sub and a Philly Cheese Steak sub along with a side of fries and mozz sticks since nothing was included with the subs. Those came out after a bit and then we then proceeded to wait nearly 40 minutes for the subs(!!!) When the food finally arrived it was only average. The Philly Cheese Steak was decent but the Chicken Parm was awful. It was obviously had been frozen pieces of chicken that was tasteless and chewy. There was way too much bread for not enough chicken, and you couldn't even feel the chicken inside the sandwich because too much sauce made it mushy. We were extremely disappointed with the food, service and price by the time we got the bill. Turns out we had been charged extra for the little bit of extra tomatoes and lettuce on the Philly sub, and walked away with a $37 bill for what we had intended to spend under $20 on. We'd have rather spent $10 at McDonalds and if we wanted to eat gross generic food.
Overall, my recommendations would be that this Castellos figures out what kind of restaurant they want to be-- gourmet? Make the food fresh and original and get rid of the bland florescent lighting. Sports bar? Ditch the fancy menu and weird decor. Take-out pizzas? Put the menu on the wall like a normal place. And for heaven's sake, don't make your customers wait over a half hour for a sub sandwich and nickel and dime for every...
Read moreI give no stars, very unprofessional customer from the Manager Fabeo after letting him know after my 15 year daughter left with friends after school from eating pizza there for the first time. She was throwing up and had severe stomach ache. I was at work and someone had to pick her up from the game because of how sick she was. The first thing I was told instead of an apology and compassion. Fabeo stated there was no way that the pizza could of made her sick because all of their products are fresh. He then said, it’s probably something she ate at school before coming to the restaurant. Why are you blaming us for your daughter being sick and we had nothing to do with that. He also, said, she was there with her freinds and she was the only one affected by the pizza. He was one of the most rude Manager I have ever encounter, with no compassion. He then hang up the phone on me. Then I ask for corporate and was given a number for Tabatha at the Clermont location and soon as I call, she never asked, How are you doing and how may we help you. The first thing she said, was Fabeo call and started saying what he relay to her. I couldn’t believe it. Which made me more upset, she was no kind of help. Instead of hearing the customer concern and then apologize with empathy, would of been great. That was not the case. I don’t understand this world we live in today have lost compassion and empathy...
Read moreCastello's Pizza in Orlando is a fantastic pizza place that I recently visited and was blown away by their excellent pizza. The crust was crispy and had just the right amount of char, while the sauce was flavorful and had a nice balance of sweetness and acidity. The toppings were fresh and generous, and each bite was loaded with cheese and delicious toppings.
The service was great too, the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable, and I felt right at home. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great pizza experience.
Overall, I highly recommend Castello's Pizza for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying pizza experience. Whether you're a local or just visiting Orlando, this pizza place is a must-try. The combination of fantastic food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere makes Castello's Pizza a standout pizzeria that I will definitely be visiting again...
