Why is it every time I come to this location. Hell, any checkers location in Orlando FL. It's ALWAYS a problem. I normally go to Wendy's were the food is always hot & fresh. My boyfriend loves Checkers and made sure we had to eat it. He ordered 5 checker burgers, 1 checker bite box, 2 fries, 2 cokes and 1 vanilla ice cream cone. Everything was great. Till I passed out the burgers. They were ALL cold. I mean cold. Example: you buy a burger and wait to eat it hrs later. After it has been left out cold. Ewwww! So, I called my local Checkers. After 4 rings a lady answers. "YEA!" I had to ask her if this was Checkers that I was speaking with. She said yes. I greeted her and asked if I could speak with a manager. She says she is a manager. I asked her name and she said "Jackie". I then let her know that ALL the burgers were cold and not fresh. I let her know that everything else was good. Just the burgers were cold. She tells me that they always cook everything fresh and that no way they could have been cold. (Like I loves their food so much that I needed to call and lie. I mean goodness. The burgers had no warmth. My tears are warmer then them burgers). She then tells me to come back and she will have them replaced. I tell her that there is no way that I can come back tonight and that I don't know when I will be able to come back. So, she then tells me that I have to save the food and bring it with me when I come in. (Say what? Didn't I just tell her that I didn't know when I would be able to come back. There only a handful, if that of Checkers in Orlando) So, I polity told her never mind and that I would contact corporate. It sucks when you use your last few dollars on a company that once a issue is brought to hand. No concerns or no true apology is given. If I could give them ZERO stars, or even a -5 stars I would. SMH!...

Read moreTonight’s experience was AWFUL. We place our order and pull up to the window where they take our payment and tell us to pull around to the other side even though nobody is behind us. We wait at that window for over 30 minutes, which gave us plenty of time to see:
the uniformed employees messing around, joking with their friends in the parking lot, playing a game where they slam the side door shut on each other, and basically anything that wasn’t making food. the “un-uniformed” employees who I’m pretty sure were just friends of the real employees that came to play restaurant. One woman (who was working more than the others, I will give her credit) was dressed in a crop top and shorts and another was dressed in a lingerie top and shorts. Both looked at us at one point and laughed before coming to the window and asking why we were sitting there.
When they FINALLY decided to make our order we had to repeat it to them several times. This was after at least 3 groups of walk-up customers came and went and several more cars had gone through the drive-thru, which is a lot for 3am. We stop at this location quite frequently and while sometimes it does understandably take a few minutes, this was an insane experience. Clearly the one good night manager they had left as we haven’t seen her in a while and the store has gone crazy. We won’t be returning to...
