My husband and I had lunch with the Chick-fil-A on causeway boulevard in Brandon today which was on Monday the 17th of October. I ordered the cob salad , 12 piece nugget, a few more items on the menu and the sweet tea with extra lemon on the side. Our lunch was a little over $30. When I went for a refill of my sweet tea they refused to give me any more lemons. BTW the lemons were very dry not juicy at all. I know for a fact they were not out of lemon. the young lady at the register stated to me that I was only allowed a couple lemons at my visit. I even offered to pay for the extra lemons and was still refused. I have never had that problem with anyChick-fil-A.. I know for a fact that Chick-fil-A is known for their outstanding customer service , cleanliness and just the overall great experience that is why we visit Chick-fil-A .If there were ever a problem with my order they immediately corrected it with no complaints or attitude. In my 60 plus years of my life I never ever had a Chick-fil-A refuse to give me extra lemon on my refill of my tea.I was so upset because the Chick-fil-A on causeway boulevard. That incident ruined my lunch for myself and my husband and the rest of my day and evening. I have never had that type of disappointment with a Chick-fil-A. Hearing is 225 a.m. and I'm still upset over what happened today at that Chick-fil-A. I don't believe that I will go back to that establishment or even recommend it to any of my friends we'll just go to the one in Valrico. I no we have never experienced that poor customer service from any Chick-fil-A .We always try to visit a Chick-fil-A once a week or a few times a month. The manager at that Chick-fil-A was not apologetic in any way. I don't know if he was just having a bad day but he was not very nice at all. I believe someone needs to cheer him up and teach him some management skills and how Chick-fil-A runs their establishments. All I can say it was not a very good day for Chick-fil-A or us for that matter. I'm sorry this comment was so long but I was so disappointed and upset and still am at 2:30 AM . We just told no one else experienced what we did today because it was awful. Thank you...
Read moreI ordered a Cobb salad and two spicy chicken sandwiches today, forgot to check my bag on the way out (I realize that is my own fault) and got home to realize I was charged for everything I ordered, however, I only received one sandwich. I called and was promptly treated as if I were lying, briefly laughed at and then was told to bring my receipt with me and I could come get the other sandwich. So I spent another 30 minute round trip to get the food that I paid for and was not given just to stand under a door dash tent in the rain for ten minutes while I was treated as if I was the one who had done something wrong until someone finally brought out my sandwich. Coming from a hospitality background not only is it customary to treat your patrons with respect no matter what, but also you should certainly reimburse your patrons when they are extraordinarily inconvenienced by the incompetence of your staff. I a simple cookie or heck a complimentary sauce packet to at least see a gesture of sympathy, I'm not one to ask for such favors because it is not a requirement but it is most certainly more than representative of the individuals who are employed as well as those who manage a restaurant. I'm disappointed that a company like Chick-Fil-A would allow a franchise to be run like this. When I worked at Chick-Fil-A many years ago we were taught to always put hospitality and the satisfaction of our guests above all else. Yes, there are people who take advantage of things like being able to get a free sandwich from an upstanding company and yes that is something I have seen a lot, but as someone who prides themselves on honesty and integrity I am indescribably unnerved by being treated like this, especially considering it is an organization like a Chick-Fil-A. My family and I will happily go without patronizing this location and sadly it will take something going wrong for you to understand what I am talking about. I hope someone who manages this location will actually take the time to read this and have some ideas to help this location get it's...
Read moreI ordered two breakfast bowls with one as a combo for a drink. Food came out fast but the soda was flat. I walked up the the counter but everybody was super busy and waited 20 seconds or some holding my drink. Oh well so I took the drink to the bathroom to pour it out to get a refill on the return trip. While walking to the bathroom three Chick-fil-A employees were at the far most booth. Overhearing some of the conversation it appears two of them were getting in trouble/written up. Does this restaurant not have a manager's office for this? At the front again an employee refilled my drink from both machines but they were out of C02 for all drinks. I walked back to my Wife to ask what she wanted to do. She was disappointed and would have not ordered a combo if she knew this. At this point 10+ cars have driven through the drive through. Back at the front, the employee offered lemonade instead. The director ( Blue Shirt) has walked by a few time and I waived her down, I told her the problem and asked for a cold coffee instead. She went to make it and two of the employees were talking, "should we tell the drive through we don't have C02?" "Um it should be here soon, we just called for it" At this point I interjected, "Tell the people in the drive through the soda machines are down" The director came back with my drink and walked away quickly. It appeared they had more problems then the C02 issue. The food was to be expected but the service/professionalism was very poor. This is the 1st time ever I have had a bad experience at Chick-Fil-A. I greatly value Chick-fil-A as the best fast food restaurant for many reasons, but maybe this was just an off day? Reading other reviews they might have many off days at the Causeway Blvd...
