Been shopping with value pawn for 20 years... Never had an issue till cash America pawn bought them out.. I bought a battery charger from them and even bought the extra warranty Plan..then i took it home, hooked it up, tried multiple batteries and for sure, it doesn't work.. charged same batteries at AutoZone the next day. The third day I had off work so I took it back to value pawn and they don't have another one to sell me and they won't give me my money back. The a$$hat of a manager told me I could only get store credit.. I said I need a battery charger not store credit so get me one or give me my money back.. he said I would have to take the store credit and go to other stores and see if they have one.. I'm not driving 20 miles in my V8 truck to the next store in hopes they have one.. it's not my fault yo u sell broken products then steak the customers money when it doesn't work. I called my lawyer he said even if it is company policy by chance which it's probably not. It is 100% illegal and we will be pursuing it. So.. in the end, I may spend more in lawyer fees then on the actual charger.. but I will be sure they don't do this to anyone else. And hopefully the judge will them pay all lawyer fees as well.. Wish me luck and stay away from this horrible company along with cash America pawn.

I did my research before I went in and let me tell you the reviews did not disappoint. This pawn shop is every bit as good as the reviews say and then some. Michele (whom I saw mentioned in the reviews plenty of times) was honest and took the time to explain how she got to the price that she was quoting me. When I left I was fully satisfied that I had been paid the best price for what I was selling. Also they take the time to listen to their customers. I noticed that they had a bike for sale. Another customer had mentioned that he can buy it brand new for $500 more than what they were selling it for. Before I left they had dropped the price to better align with the current resale of that product. In my book that shows that they are not out to get you and if something is not right they will make it right. I was having an issue with Luna it's a little program that they have which I think it was my fault actually that I went back and looked. But I spoke with the sweetest woman named Alexis and she looked up my ticket number gave me more information very very useful information that will help me out 100% this month. And I usually dread calling places to ask them questions because they make it seem like it's a hardship to answer any of your questions with customer service these days.
