Went there today for a simple milkshake and concrete mixer. Whoever designed the parking lot did not pass engineering class. You cannot park in any of the multiple parking lots spaces in front of the restaurant as long as there's a line and drive through. The only option is to park farther away from the restaurant in order for you to find a spot and be able to get in and out in any kind of manner. Also the manager who was on duty was extremely loud and extremely non-professional. I get having a good time with your employees but he really pushed the line. It was so bad that the cashier was embarrassed of him and had to tell me she was sorry for the way he was acting. The food is always great here. The milkshake and concrete mixer were fantastic. We got in and out before the car that was in front of us even moved up one spot. Their drive-thru is horrendous.
Update 8/23: Staff was a lot friendlier and well-managed today.
Update 6/16/24: visited this location as I have since it opened 4 years ago. Took Culver cards that received from Catholic High School as we have done for the past 3 years. Went to order and they wanted to upcharge for onion rings which was fine. My son got his meal no problem. Although when I went to ask for a milkshake instead of a concrete mixer, the manager refused to do so. After me explaining that I had done that for the last several years and that there was no policy saying that I couldn't. The customer standing next to me decided to get loud and cuss saying I needed to shut the f up. I immediately responded to her turned around to the gentleman whose name was Trevor by the way, and he proceeded to take my cup back and hand me the coupons and tell me he wasn't going to serve me. This was totally uncalled for and very unprofessional. After the situation where I received the coupons I then proceeded to tell him what I thought of the situation. I would not recommend this restaurant at any time that...
Read moreOkay first off: I've been to Culver's 3 times, and only this location. I had a Butterburger Deluxe, with fries and a drink. My mother had a Mushroom & Swiss Burger with Mashed Potatoes and a drink. My father had a Butterburger Deluxe with their Chili and a drink. We all had their In-House Rootbeer as our drinks. Overall, their burgers are on the high-quality spectrum. Their fries are air fried, but that doesn't make them worse than most places. Their fries are actually good (In my opinion, most do not like air fryed fries.) and better than most places, not to mention more healthy. The root beer was honestly eh, not very good. I would much rather drink A&W rootbeer than their rootbeer. It's got a vanilla-creme taste along with a barq's taste in one, and I honestly do not like it. My mother said their gravy and mashed potatoes were awful. My dad said the chili was amazing though, but he did not like anything else that much. We've also had their chicken sandwiches (not this visit) and I highly recommend NOT buying them. Their thin and not even good-tasting. Their custard isn't anything to shout about either. The service was very good though, quick and polite. Overall, Culver's is worth a try but it depends on preference really... They are super expensive too, averaging 11-14$ per person, with extra sauces such as ketchup costing more money. If you want cheaper and around the same IF NOT way better, go for China Wok or Whataburger. If you want better chicken go to Foosackly's. If you want the same price or higher, and also the same quality or even better burgers go to Denny's. Pictures for how it looks and portions. Pretty meal honestly. Try Culver's, but other places probably have something better than what you expect to want here. Burgers are good enough and portions are well in the way of being acceptable that I give this place 3 stars. Do not recommend to make a...
Read moreOkay, starting off, like always Culvers has a great product. My review is based on something else at this location.
I just moved to the area due to family issues and needed a job. I had an interview on Wednesday, Sept 2nd and offered a position on the spot. Sweet. My job search is over and I can stop worrying. They gave me a start date of Wednesday the 9th from 9am to 4pm. Awesome, right?
No..
I get a call Friday, 2 days after being offered the job and get the excuse that "we don't have enough hours to hire anyone right now". Then why have the ad up, and WHY TAKE INTERVIEWS and most importantly, WHY OFFER ME THE JOB AND A START DATE?
WHAT?!?! I was offered a job, given a start date, purchased the required shoes and pants needed for the job, then get told oops we don't have the hours?
As someone who has been a manager at a few places, this was the most unprofessional, and worst things you could do to someone who NEEDS a job. Especially since I turned down another job the next day on Thursday.
If you hire someone, you are expected to keep your word. That persons lively hood is in your hands. Corporate and Owners are being made aware of this issue.
This put me in a bind, since taking this job (as i was told....) Now I'm stuck without a job for even longer, because I was straight up lied to about being hired. Thanks Culvers. I was hoping to add to your usual good record of customer service and great employees. Instead I am forced to write a review, when instead I should have been looking forward to a new career at a...
