I want my people to succeed but i also have to be honest too. We drove over for some authentic haitian bread. I left with what i thought were 2 freshly baked bags and tried it in the car on the way home only to find out that it was not the same as the haitian bread im used to eating. It wasn't bad, it just wasnt the dense and soft in the middle haitian bread we're used to eating. Not sure if this was just a bad batch or not but it tasted like regular whute bread. I drove all the way from south hillsborough and i dont see myself driving back that way for it again. I liked the variety of Haitian items they had. I was very excited to see that they had confiture de chadeque, chanm chanmn and delicious Haitian mangos. The bread didn’t seem all that fresh to me which seems like it would be their number one seller. I may be bias because there’s an amazing Haitian bread shop in Orlando that I grew up visiting and the shops in Tampa just do not do it for me. The patties were bottom tier in my opinion. I enjoy the warm thick flaky crust of Haitian patties and this did not give me that. Customer service was okay nothing exceptional.
