I knowingly paid an absorbent amount for my tires, I didn't have the spare cash for what I really wanted and RNR gave me options👍🏿with free maintenance, repair and more. The in store customer service A+ .......but when seeking the additional service and maintenance guarantee I paid for I've run cross unnecessary conflict coming from the actual service / maintenance department it self. The tech(s) seems to pick what they will or want to do often coming up with some b.s reason to not do the service / maintenance. Me myself a 25yrs heavy equipment technician with a mechanical engineering degree find RNR tech(s) work ethics and attitude actually disgraceful, insulting and a huge stain / black eye for the sales department at this particular location. It's obvious the front desk depends / rely on the service technicians knowledge to insure safety and any applicable laws or rules governing tires but there should also be check and balances to insure the technician opposing the service / maintenance reasons be valid and credible. The tech(s) at this location really take advantage stop work protocol in what seems to be out of sheer laziness and the ability to do so. On this particular visit for maintenance I required my rubber to be flipped on the rims. The same sorry azz tech before sought a reason why not too......this time he tried DOT regulations.....well after I drew the manager in I got my rubber flipped and tires rotated but I swear I'm completely disappointed with RNR service department 👎🏾and the service promised at purchase was my only saulice for the absorbent price I paid🤷🏾♂️
Update 7-24-23 Seeking warranty services I found out today that what I was sold I don't actually have. I'm done with RNR...
Read moreIf you're doing a groupon get the Auto Service Experts Inc. alignment instead, RNR will do your alignment in 15 minutes and lie to your face when you ask if they did the wheel balance. I had a shake/vibration and specified to them that I was more interested in the wheel balance than the alignment. When I left, I still had a shake and spent two weeks trying to diagnose the vibration and replaced CV axles, Rack and Pinion, struts, tie rod ends and sway bars, it was expensive and stressful beyond words trying to diagnose this vibration and I never thought it could be the wheels because they assured me they balanced them but I finally decided to go to another shop to check the balance and only ONE tire was balanced and 3 were out of balance. I bought another Groupon to get an alignment there after all this work because it was the cheapest but when I called to nicely beg for an earlier appointment (because of everything ive been though) the manager Christian acted arrogant and like a psychopath even though I wasn’t even asking for anything special (I wasn’t asking for a free alignment, I just wanted to get an alignment before their availability 1 week later!) ….i was supposed to be in California 2 weeks ago but this ordeal had me stuck. I’m currently at Auto Service Experts Inc in Clearwater (its worth the drive) and theve been working in my alignment fir almost three hours, they are so thorough! And theyve test drove it twice! Rnr is definitely not going to test drive your car before they hand you it worse...
Read moreI purchased tires and wheels a couple months ago from RNR. The salesman recommended 20 inch wheels. Mine were stock 18 inch, with no rise kit. After installation, the tires rubbed the back of my wheel wells. I took the truck back, and the same salesman just told me to cut the backs out of the wells instead of putting on smaller tires and wheels. I guess it was now my problem. After cutting out my wells, I loaded up the truck and drove to Tennessee, and noticed a vibration between 65 and 70 mph, which was the first time I drove this fast, since the installation. The vibration continued, so, I took the truck to my local Nissan dealer, in Chattanooga. I was told that none of the tires were in balance. All we're out. One tire was 6 ozs. Out of balance. After correcting the balance issues, I still have a vibration, but not as bad. The tech said that the tires are probably "flat spotted", now, and I'll just have to deal with it. I didn't bother to bring this to RNR attention, since they didn't seem to care about the original tire size issue. Very unhappy with my experience, won't go back. Teach your techs how to balance tires. Thanks.
