It was my first time at Dawn's. I am thankful we have local Christians business owners who are operating a successful business on the 98 strip that isn't a franchise business!!

The storefront is lovely. It's a little crowded because of the ginormous tables they have. It was a little hard to move around the dessert and food cases. We ordered 2 drinks (loaded tea) and 2 treats: carrot cake and an apple maple glazed scone. The carrot cake was good. I feel like there was too much cream cheese frosting on it - but my daughter would disagree. We also had a scone. The scone was super dry and unedible. It crumbled to pieces just trying to cut it was the plastic fork. I so wanted it to be good, as I love me a good scone. There is a play area for kids that doesn't help with the crowded space, but I do feel like it is a nice touch since Mama's wanna meet and have a coffee date with friends. Let's start off with how welcoming this whole environment is, not to mention the staff always being friendly and outgoing with everyone who walks into their doors. Everything I have tried on their menu has been DELICIOUS!!! FROM THE HOT BREAKFAST MADE TO ORDER ITEMS TO THE COOKIES AND CAKES THAT ARE PREPACKAGED READY TO GO, COOKED IN THEIR KITCHEN DAILY. I AM IN HERE ALMOST DAILY AND SO ARE MY CO WORKERS. JUST A WALK DOWN THE SIDE WALK AND BOOM ALL OF OUR HUNGER AND THIRSTY NEEDS ARE COMPLETELY SATISFIED.
