This was my first time dining in and we were a party of 3. There was only one other table being served. Tom (I think that’s his name?) came to take our order, which he didn’t write down, and we never saw him again. He did not bring out our food, he did not check how the food was or ask us if we’d like refills on our drinks. Our drinks were 2 waters and a tea. The tea was in a red cup and the waters were in a clear cup. So even though he didn’t write down our order, there was no reason why he charged us for “two iced teas” on the ticket. I was also charged for an order of egg rolls even though I did not order it. When they got put on the table, we ate them because we thought this is something they served until the food is out. When I brought this to his attention, he said “well you should’ve said something before you ate it”, but again this was my first time dining in so I did not know they randomly would put something I didn’t order on the table just so they can charge me for it. And even though they brought the entree out before the sushi, it was cold. There was no apology from the owner (Tom) for over charging us for items we didn’t order.
Edit to reply to this nonsense: -there was only 3 of us, actually, so yeah it was 1+1+1 + the 4 I didn’t ask for -Tom conveniently heard an order of spring rolls because he didn’t write the order down. If he had, he would’ve known I’m right and you all could then stop putting blame on the customer. No, not several people heard me say spring rolls because besides Tom, there was only one other girl running around the restaurant trying to do everything. -as I said several times, because it was our first time dining in, there was no way for me to know that’s not standard practice given we were served the individual spring rolls that I also didn’t ask for. -no, I have no idea how my food still got to me cold. I have no reason to lie. I see now that several people have had similar experiences at this restaurant, and I’m trying to warn others that the food quality and customer service is trash. -how is it likely there’s no error on your end when you just said no one wrote down the order? The sushi order was not complicated. We ordered rolls exactly the way they were off the menu- no modifications were made. -I did not request anyone by any title. I asked the girl who was walking around to explain the extra change and she said “well, I didn’t take your order so i don’t know but let me get him for you”. -I assumed this man was the owner because he was just doing whatever he wanted, didn’t look like he was wearing a uniform or anything and did not give any kind of apology for the hassle or not checking up on us at all...

I'm writing this as I sit and wait for my food. I got a #7 special, pad Thai with chicken, spring rolls, and a Thai tea at 12:19. It's August of 2020. There's a plastic partition separating the cashier and customers. The cooks are wearing face shields. This place seems very clean, most of the kitchen is visible. Not just clean here and there, the benches and countertop appear freshly cleaned. Kitchen seems orderly.
I didn't have a chance to use the bathroom which I'm aware is a big factor. If I go again, I will be sure to check it out. I'm pretty sure I will come again though. The atmosphere looks like whoever runs this place put some time into. There are cultural decorations and designs everywhere. The only thing left to do is to rate the food.
I got my food about 25 minutes later. Judging from the quality of the food this is right around what I would expect, no fault to the establishment in waiting more time for quality. Not unreasonable because there were people dining in as well.
The Pad Thai was great although I usually like it a little spicy, and it wasn't spicy at all. I didn't ask for spicy, so there you go.
The Special 7 three flavor shrimp I really liked. It had bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas, cabbage, baby corn, mushrooms, onion, pineapple, suspended in a tangy sauce, served with white rice. It was sweet and tangy.
The spring rolls were great and the sauce with them...
Read moreWe decided to have lunch here after spending the morning at Navarre Beach. Parking lot is small but we didn't have any issues finding a spot. Only one other table was seated, but maybe it wasn't busy because it was after 2pm. We ordered the fish cakes appetizer, and they were delicious. These typically have a "squeaky" texture and a little heat, so we knew what to expect. The accompanying sauce was delicious even if it was a funny pink color. For entrees we ordered Glass Noodle Salad and Pineapple Fried Rice. The salad was delicious - served a little warm with chicken and shrimp mixed in. Perfect option for a hot day. The fried rice was a little too sweet for our tastes and didn't have much pineapple. The pieces that were in there appeared to be canned not fresh. We probably would not order this again. We were tempted to try their sushi and the seafood specials, but that will have to wait until our next visit. Instead we saved room for dessert and had the Thai custard with sweet rice. I usually make this dish at home and have never had it with peach jam. I was very surprised as how good it tasted with this addition. We will definitely have that again! Decor suits the Thai style but wished it wasn't so dark. Overall a good option that's close to the pier and offers authentic...
