Dunkin' — Restaurant in Florida

I understand that this location is very understaffed. The usual woman who makes my coffee with the arm brace in the mornings is my favourite lady who is always very efficient and very fast.

This morning when I came in at 1/12/23 at 9:30 AM there were more staff than I'm used to ever seeing at this location.

The young woman who took my order had a lollipop stick hanging out of her mouth and slurred her words. Her very long dark hair with blonde highlights underneath was horribly unkempt and 70% was hanging out of the very loose pony tail she had it in. No hair nets in sight.

I waited 15 minutes for my food, which she threw in the oven and started taking other orders. Understandable, it was getting busy. Remember how I said this was the first time I ever saw other staff there? Yeah, the other women were talking loudly in the back not helping this other girl out while a line piled up.

However she made about four other people behind me's coffee and by the time I DID get the food it was ice cold. The piece de resistance was watching her wipe a big ball of snot on the back and side of her glove before putting our food in the box and handing it to me.

I'll be honest it made me completely lose my appetite. I did not eat mine. But my husband however dug into his and of course found a long dark hair.

I didn't want to ask for a refund in the store when I saw her wipe her snot on her glove and sound like a karen, there were about four other people waiting in line and part of me didn't want to humiliate this girl, I think it was her first day. But damn do I regret not doing it because this was the biggest waste of $20 ever.

I tried calling their store line at this location, to no avail. They do not pick up.

Even if I have to drive further to the other dunkin', I will never be coming back to...

I would like to apologize to the staff at the Dunkin Donuts in Walmart for ruining THEIR social media time this morning!

I didn't know I would be inconveniencing them as much as I did, so for that, I am sorry!

I went here to pick up a coffee for a co-worker and when I placed my order, I didn't have a lot of confidence in the staff. I soon realized why.

Two brunette haired employees were working and after I placed my order, the one pulled out her phone and was showing the other one Facebook. Meanwhile, I'm waiting for my coffee.

Another customer came in and ordered a coffee, she got hers right away. Being annoyed at this point, I gently reminded them that I had a coffee too.

The one employee (who had her phone out, distracting the other) said "You didn't finish his latte?!" I then received two insincere apologies from the employee that made the coffee.

I now see why this location gets so many 1-star reviews. The customer should always come first and if the employees are busy with other customers, I'd be a lot more understanding. When you have two employees standing around watching social media while a customer waits for a coffee, that is the problem.

I won't be going back to this "establishment" anytime soon. I will gladly drive out of my way to go to a more professional and respectable Dunkin Donuts where they actually acknowledge and help customers, not just stand around and view social media while...

I came here because I was hungry. I didn't come here just to throw money away. I would expect more from a order of hash browns. They won't let me post a picture but I got five little quarter size hash browns. RIDICULOUS. One of the few times i goto dunkin doughnuts. I will tell you, ill never go back, ill just goto McDonald's or Burger King. Ruined my morning, now i have to buy 2 breakfasts. NOT RECOMMENDED. I'll also add that my sausage egg and cheese sandwich the croissant was burnt and it tastes like it was stale. What's going on do people just not care...
