Bob Evans — Restaurant in Florida

Stood at the hostess stand for almost ten minutes they only had two servers in the restaurant so I was OK with waiting then me and my wife where sat the one said the other waitress will be with you in a minute. About 5-10 minutes go by I see are waitress ahe foes to the table behind us that had only been sitting for a few minutes. So we got up and asked the waitress since she walked right past are table is there a reason you took there order first and didn't even acknowledge us. She froze and said nothing well me and my wife both work in the restaurant Industry so her tip would have been $20 from us so she would have gotten a %50 tip instead we walked out. This message is to management if you don't have enough staff to run a restaurant my advice is close from the day. The whole time wee where there I never say a manager and the one girl just kept giving dirty look cashing guest out knowing she had to come seat the couple in front of us then me and my wife then about 3 or 4 more tabled with 2 or 3 guest. As someone who has been a front of house and back of house manager. The kitchen is an important part but what is most of all important the guest because we don't come back to your establishment atleast this location never again. For your restaurant to being run by what might have been 1 waitress and cashier/hostess not positive but to not have a manager in the dinning room at 5:30-6:00 p.m. that is honestly a disappointment. Hope the GM of this place or district get this store in place before they loss a...

Please Note the 5 star rating is soley due to the quick corrections by Jen at this Venice location. If not for her I would have given 1 star and not returned. Our table was accidentally given to someone else and extended our wait time. Jen promptly was honest, explained and apologized. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes that stated on the menu they came with chocolate chips, chocolate sauce and Whipped cream on the top. Nothing was on mine. I had taken a couple bites while I waited for our waitress to back. She did not but we were able to flag down Jen who apologized again and took them back to the kitchen. Then our waitress Finally came back with the chocolate chip pancakes..and quickly left..as I look I realize she brought back the Same pancakes I sent back!!! Which were now cold..In the mean time he was half way through eating his meal and we were Still waiting on the side of brown sugar bacon to show up and trying to return the chocolate chip pancakes once again..trainwreck. Once again Jen came to the rescue..got an order of Biscuits and gravy instead. I believe she is a hostess there? Wasn't our waitress yet her happy demeanor, promptness to correct each issue was Greatly appreciated. She even told what I believe was the manager to comp our entire meal. We opted to tip Jen well for her efforts. I only Hope that this location realizes what a True Gem Jen is and rewards her...

Went in to pick up a door dash order and waited for about 20 mins order had been sitting up in window from the time I walked through the door. They wasn't that busy all but about 5 to 6 people were in there eating. Every person that walked in after that which was one couple then and older man. Got seated as soon as they walked up. I still continued to stand there been overlooked. This older lady came up to me and asked if i had been helped i said no ma'ma. She asked me was i there to pick up an order. I said yes a door dash order. She went to window and got the stuff that had been sitting and bagged it. She came back to me handed me the order and apologized for No One helping me and see me standing there she said that was ridiculous that they seen you standing there and no one would help you. Truth be told i was looked at hateful all but by that one old lady who helped me. God bless your heart. There are still kind people in the world and who don't look at us different. I just hate it for the person i had to deliver that order to cause i know it was luke warm when they got it. And that was because it was under that hot...
