Avocado toast & wraps SMELL & TASTE OF CHEMICALS! I have noticed this @ other DD BUT ONLY those that have been open a few moās! I did some research & found out a LOT of the SAME COMPLAINTS @ āestablishedā stores and found out WHY! In addition to the pkging itself as well as the chemicals used for cleaning & then not thoroughly rinsing utensils etc., the MAIN CULPRIT is B/C they are NOT CHANGING BAKING PAN LINERS! Never mind the liners alone are toxic but adding heat to them over & over will eventually cause the chemicals to leach into your food - so much so that it can be smelled & tasted! During a non busy time I tried to nicely explain to mngr my concern as well as my research findings and rudely interrupted me saying āthis store makes $31k a wk so if this was a true problem I wld know abt it before nowā! IDK what she was thinking but I canāt imagine anyone ordering two different hot items only to take a bite and then complain about them to get a refund - seriously!! Furthermore, her statement was wrong b/c she probably wldnt know simply because the majority of the customers are working ppl grabbing a cup of joe and at the last min they decide to order something! So when they too discover they were served a hunk of hot chemicals they remain on their phone 1 maybe making a comment or two to whomever about the food tasting weird and then they continue drinking their coffee and off they go, chucking the item in the garbage when reaching their destination. They may or may not even make a mental note not to order that item again or to even go there again. Typically though the average DD customer is so busy it will take ordering it a few times to say wait a minute which is what I did! So she was absolutely wrong and perhaps it has not affected their business OR MAYBE THEY CLD markedly INCREASE their āweekly revenueā by paying attention to this review and fixing the problem so people would order again!
Order something hot and I 100 % guarantee you too will have the same experience! Also do a quick Google search and you will also find the other chemical issues DD has been cited for! The only positive I can add is the manager did...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur experience was very troublesome and the management is unprofessional. My friends and I were ordering our meals and coffees this morning at Dunkin and the manager was very rude and continued to interrupt me. They messed up all of our orders, we asked for light cream cheese and they decided to slap a boat load of it on all of our bagels in which we didn't have such a problem with because we could easily remove it ourselves, although that is very inconvenient. It was our drinks we were more concerned with. We specifically asked for extra cream and sugar in our beverages which we didn't receive. We proceeded to go through the drive thru and we asked for the manager and she had a really bad attitude once again, and after we told her our concerns she stated "Okay you can give us the food back and we'll give you a refund and you guys can have a good day" and then the crew member proceeded to say "Well I made it and I know what I put in it, and if I make it again you're not gonna like it". We didn't want a refund because we were hungry and just wanted our food that we spent over 30 dollars on. So they told us to pull up and the manager brought out the food and while I was grabbing the drinks we said we didn't come to have a disagreement I eat at this location every day before I go to work and before I could even finish she rudely and insincerely said have a good day and I told her I wasn't finished speaking and she completely ignored me and walked back without saying a word. Very unprofessional on her behalf and for even allowing her crew member to get involved and try to argue with her customers. The manager should have handled the situation better. I normally don't go back around the drive thru or leave a bad review if my food was incorrect but we were beyond shocked at this outcome and very disappointed with our...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Dunkin' on Aprile really saved the day today! My son turned 9 on Sunday, but missed school on Monday because we were out of town. I'm a busy, working mom and my promise to bring in treats for his class during lunchtime on Tuesday completely slipped my mind until the morning of. MOM FAIL! My son is such a sweet kid and when he saw the look on my face when he realized I had forgotten he said, "don't worry about it, mom - its not a big deal..." Well, that just motivated me more to try and get something there. I called the two Dunkins closest to me and even called a couple of Publix stores to see if they could get 50-60 (yeah, its a lot of kids) glazed donuts together in about a 2-hour window. I thought all hope was lost until I called the Dunkin' on Aprile. The woman I spoke with was so kind and pleasant - one Dunkin I called made me feel ridiculous for even asking and the other never picked up the phone. She said she could have them ready by 11:30am...a tiny bit later than I was hoping, but I'd still make it to school in time to pass them out at the end of lunch. So, I gladly accepted her offer. Would you believe she called me back at 10:33am to let me know my order was ready early? 5 dozen glazed donuts ready an hour earlier than expected!!! I was ecstatic! Not only was I able to deliver treats to my son and his class on time, but I was able to sit and enjoy lunch with him, too. I wasn't rushed or pressed for time. Somehow what started out as a complete mom fail ended up a as a mom win...and it is ALL THANKS TO THE AMAZING TEAM AT THE DUNKIN' ON APRILE! I really can't thank you guys enough. Keep up...
