Never in my life have I waited so long in a drive thru…. Over 20 mins from the time I entered the parking lot till I got to the speaker to place my order…. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this location that’s approximately 5 cars (to add insult to injury once you are 3 cars in you’re stuck, there is no way out of the drive thru line) it took sooo long I began to wonder if everything was ok inside… I left my car running in the drive thru line and went inside to check. The manager told me they were understaffed. I pointed out that there were 6 of them behind the counter… she replied that they were all new and none of them had been working there more than 3 weeks… honestly I don’t care if they had just started that day there is no good reason for a drive thru line to move that slow … this was not the fault of new workers this is the result of poor management. This spot use to be my go to, 5 mins or less in and out…over the last several months I have witnessed the lines grow longer as the service gets increasingly slower as the quality of the product declines… I returned to my car, the line hadn’t moved an inch. I skipped placing my order and remained trapped for another 5 or so mins before finally having the opportunity to drive off never to return again… If I worked at corporate I seriously consider shutting this location down or at the very least placing it under new management… locations like this will tarnish an...
Read moreSo I ordered 4 Boston creme and some munchkins. They hand me a box of munchkins and a bag. As I grab the bag I have chocolate frosting everywhere. I look in the bag and sure enough there are four donuts Stacked. Now, if you are familiar with Boston cream, you know that the top has a full layer of chocolate frosting on it, and now they're stacked in the bag and there's frosting everywhere so when I complain about it, she comes back with 2 bags and she said there's 2 in each bag. It wasn't. . There was still 4 in one and 1 and 2 in another all stacked and frosting everywhere. So I still told her that it wasn't acceptable. And that is when she told me that she couldn't give me a box. So I ended up saying okay. I ordered 2 more donuts to make it six. So they can give me a box. So my donuts aren't stacked with frosting. She proceeds to take all of the ones out of the bag and put them in the box and send me on my way. In recent times like everywhere else, Dunkin' Donuts has raised their prices. Read moreI just finished waiting twenty-five (25) minutes in the drive-thru, from arrival to order completion, only to get home and have my breakfast sandwich turn out to be a bagel with cream cheese. It may seem petty for me to leave a negative review over /that/, however:
I've been frequenting this location for close to four years, and while I've noticed a slow decline in overall quality of service since COVID cropped up (I'm assuming due to staff turnover), I've never had the displeasure experiencing both an abnormally long wait time and an order switch-up. Shame on me for assuming a longer wait would translate to accuracy of service.
I do a lot of traveling and have stopped in at plenty of Dunkin locations through the state, whether franchise (like this one), corporate, or gas station annexes in the middle of the boondocks. At this point in time, I'm comfortable saying this locations is a poor representation of the brand, and needs a serious overhaul in how it's managed.
Spend the extra ten minutes driving to the Stuart location - or the extra fifteen just making your own coffee and food at home.
